Setup and Installation

Installation of the Moen Magnetix Combo Shower is designed for wall-mounted setups. While general steps are provided, professional installation is recommended if you are unfamiliar with plumbing work.

Before You Begin:

Installation Steps:

  1. Remove Existing Showerhead: Unscrew your current showerhead from the shower arm. Clean any old sealant or debris from the shower arm threads.
  2. Apply Pipe Tape: Wrap pipe tape (Teflon tape) clockwise around the threads of the shower arm 3-4 times.
  3. Install Diverter/Mounting Bracket: Screw the main diverter unit (which holds both showerheads) onto the shower arm. Hand-tighten, then use an adjustable wrench for a final quarter-turn, ensuring it is securely fastened and facing the correct direction. Do not overtighten.
  4. Attach Fixed Rainshower Head: Screw the larger rainshower head onto the upper outlet of the diverter. Hand-tighten, then use a soft cloth and wrench to gently tighten further.
  5. Connect Handheld Hose: Attach one end of the 60-inch metal hose to the lower outlet of the diverter and the other end to the handheld shower unit. Ensure washers are in place at both connections. Hand-tighten securely.
  6. Dock Handheld Shower: The handheld shower features Magnetix technology. Simply bring the handheld unit close to the magnetic dock on the main diverter, and it will securely snap into place.
  7. Test for Leaks: Turn the main water supply back on slowly. Check all connections for leaks. If leaks occur, tighten connections slightly or reapply pipe tape.

Operation

Your Moen Magnetix Combo Shower offers versatile showering options:

Handheld Shower Settings:

The handheld shower features six high-performance spray settings. Rotate the spray face of the handheld unit to cycle through these settings and find your preferred water experience.

Magnetix Docking System:

The Magnetix system allows for effortless docking and undocking of the handheld shower. The powerful magnetic dock ensures the handheld unit securely returns to its position, even with minimal effort. This feature is particularly useful for users with limited mobility or when showering children or pets.

Maintenance

Proper care will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your Moen shower system.

Cleaning the Finish:
