4.1 Power Connection

  1. Connect the provided power adapter to the camera's DC 5V Power Port.
  2. Plug the power adapter into a standard electrical outlet. The camera will power on and initiate its startup sequence.

4.2 App Download and Account Registration

  1. Download the official Vimtag application from your mobile device's app store (available for Android and iPhone).
  2. Open the app and follow the on-screen instructions to create a new user account or log in if you already have one.

4.3 Wi-Fi Configuration

  1. In the Vimtag app, select the option to add a new device.
  2. Follow the app's instructions to connect your camera to your home Wi-Fi network. This typically involves scanning a QR code on the camera or entering your Wi-Fi credentials.

4.4 Mounting the Camera

The camera can be placed on a flat surface or mounted to a wall or ceiling using the included bracket and screws.

  • Use the on-screen controls to pan (rotate horizontally up to 355 degrees) and tilt (rotate vertically up to 90 degrees) the camera lens to adjust your viewing angle.

5.2 AI Motion Detection

  • The camera features AI-powered motion detection. When motion is detected, the camera can send alerts to your mobile device.
  • Adjust motion detection sensitivity and alert settings within the app.

5.3 Infrared Night Vision

  • The camera automatically switches to infrared night vision in low-light conditions, providing clear black-and-white video up to 32 feet.

5.4 Two-Way Talk

  • Utilize the built-in microphone and speaker for two-way audio communication through the app.
  • Press the microphone icon in the app to speak, and release to listen.
