- Anti-Drip Valve: Prevents dripping when carafe is removed during brewing.

Setup
Before first use, and for optimal performance, follow these setup steps:
- Unpack: Carefully remove all packaging materials and labels from the coffee maker.
- Initial Cleaning: Wash the glass carafe and reusable filter basket in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry. Wipe the exterior of the coffee maker with a damp cloth.
- First Brew Cycle (Cleaning): To clean the internal components, fill the water tank to the 'MAX' level with clean water. Do not add coffee grounds. Place the empty filter basket and carafe in position. Plug the coffee maker into a standard 120V AC outlet and press the On/Off switch to start a brewing cycle. Allow the cycle to complete, then discard the water. Repeat this process once more.
- Placement: Place the coffee maker on a flat, stable, heat-resistant surface, away from the edge of the counter. Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit.
Operating Instructions
Follow these steps to brew coffee with your Aigostar Buck Coffee Maker:
- Fill Water Tank: Open the lid and fill the water tank with fresh, cold water up to the desired level, indicated by the markings on the translucent water window. Do not exceed the 'MAX' fill line.
- Add Coffee Grounds: Place the reusable filter basket into the filter funnel. Add the desired amount of ground coffee into the filter basket. A general guideline is one tablespoon of ground coffee per cup (5 oz.). Adjust to your taste.
- Position Carafe: Ensure the glass carafe is placed correctly on the warming plate.
- Start Brewing: Plug the coffee maker into a standard 120V AC outlet. Press the On/Off switch. The indicator light will illuminate, signifying that the brewing process has begun.
- Anti-Drip Feature: The anti-drip valve allows you to temporarily remove the carafe (for up to 30 seconds) to pour a cup of coffee before the brewing cycle is complete, without dripping. Return the carafe to the warming plate promptly to prevent overflow from the filter basket.
- Keep Warm Function: After brewing is complete, the coffee maker's non-stick insulation board will automatically keep the coffee warm for approximately 35 minutes. After this period, the appliance will automatically shut off.
- Serve: Carefully remove the carafe from the warming plate and pour your coffee.
- Turn Off: After serving, press the On/Off switch to turn off the coffee maker and unplug it from the outlet.
