Setup Instructions

1. Battery Installation

The CVM-V30 Pro requires 2 AAA batteries for operation. To install:

  1. Unscrew the battery compartment cover at the rear of the microphone.
  2. Insert 2 AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  3. Replace the battery compartment cover and screw it securely.

2. Mounting to Camera/Tripod

The microphone features a cold shoe mount and a 1/4" thread for versatile mounting:

  • Cold Shoe Mount: Slide the microphone's cold shoe base onto your camera's hot shoe mount and tighten the locking wheel.
  • 1/4" Thread: For tripod or other accessories, screw the microphone's 1/4" thread onto the compatible mount.

3. Connecting to Recording Device

Connect the integrated 3.5mm audio output cable from the microphone to the 3.5mm audio input jack on your camera, camcorder, or smartphone. Ensure the connection is secure.

Operating Instructions

1. Powering On/Off and Sensitivity Adjustment

Locate the power/sensitivity switch on the rear of the microphone:

  • Slide the switch to 'ON' to power on the microphone. The working indicator light will turn green.
  • For +10dB sensitivity boost, slide the switch to the middle position.
  • Slide the switch to 'OFF' to power off the microphone.

2. Using the Low-cut Filter

The low-cut filter helps eliminate unwanted low-frequency noise:

  • Locate the low-cut filter switch on the rear of the microphone.
  • Slide the switch to activate the low-cut mode when recording in noisy environments or outdoors to reduce noise below 200Hz.

3. Using the Windmuff
