Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your cooker hood. Always disconnect the appliance from the power supply before performing any maintenance.
Cleaning the Grease Filters
The metal grease filters trap grease particles from cooking fumes and must be cleaned regularly to prevent fire hazards and maintain efficiency. The filters are washable.
- Frequency: Clean filters every 2-4 weeks, depending on usage.
- Removal: Locate the filter latches, typically spring-loaded, and pull them to release the filters.
- Cleaning: Wash the filters by hand in hot water with a mild detergent, or in a dishwasher on a low-temperature cycle. Ensure they are completely dry before re-installing.
- Re-installation: Insert the dry filters back into their slots until they click into place.

Replacing Carbon Filters (Recirculation Mode Only)

- Frequency: Replace carbon filters every 3-6 months, depending on usage.
- Replacement: Refer to the specific instructions provided with the carbon filters for removal and installation.
Cleaning the Exterior
Clean the exterior surfaces with a soft cloth and a mild, non-abrasive detergent. For stainless steel surfaces, use a specialized stainless steel cleaner to maintain its finish. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
