Setup
1. Battery Installation
- Open the battery compartment on the back of the main display unit.
- Insert 2 AAA batteries, observing the correct polarity (+/-).
- Close the battery compartment.
- Open the battery compartment on the back of the remote sensor.
- Insert 2 AAA batteries, observing the correct polarity (+/-).
- Close the battery compartment.
2. Pairing Remote Sensor
The main display unit and remote sensor are pre-synchronized at the factory. If they do not connect automatically, follow these steps:
- Place the remote sensor near the main display unit.
- Press and hold the 'CHANNEL/SYNC' button on the back of the main unit for 3 seconds until the display flashes.
- Press the 'TX' button inside the remote sensor's battery compartment.
- The main unit should display the remote sensor's readings within a few minutes. If not, repeat the steps.
Operating Instructions
Reading the Display
The large LCD screen displays both indoor and outdoor temperature and humidity. The top section shows outdoor readings (OUT), and the bottom section shows indoor readings (IN). Trend arrows indicate whether the temperature or humidity is rising, falling, or remaining stable.
Changing Temperature Units (°F/°C)
Press the '°F/°C' button on the back of the main unit to switch between Fahrenheit and Celsius temperature displays.
Max/Min Records
Press the 'MAX/MIN/CLEAR' button once to view the maximum temperature and humidity recorded since the last reset. Press it again to view the minimum records. To clear the records, press and hold the 'MAX/MIN/CLEAR' button for 3 seconds.
Backlight
Touch the light bulb icon on the front of the main display unit to activate the backlight for easy reading in low-light conditions. The backlight will automatically turn off after a few seconds to conserve battery life.
The touch-controlled backlight illuminates the display for clear visibility.
Placement & Mounting Options
The ThermoPro TP63B offers multiple convenient ways to place your unit:
- Tabletop Stand: Use the integrated fold-out stand on the back of the main unit for placement on any flat surface.
- Magnetic Back: The main unit has a magnetic back, allowing it to be securely attached to metallic surfaces like refrigerators.
- Wall-Mount: Utilize the hang hole on the back of the main unit to mount it on a wall using a screw or nail.
Choose from tabletop, magnetic, or wall-mount options for convenient placement.
Maintenance
Cleaning
Wipe the unit clean with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the unit in water or use abrasive cleaners.
Battery Replacement
When the battery indicator on the display shows low power, replace the batteries in both the main unit and the remote sensor with new AAA batteries to ensure continued accurate operation.
