Setup Instructions

1. Download the Avatar Controls App

  1. Scan the QR code provided in the product packaging or search for "Avatar Controls" in the Apple App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).
  2. Download and install the app.
  3. Register a new account or log in if you already have one.

2. Connect the Smart Plug to Wi-Fi

  1. Plug the Avatar Controls Smart Plug into a standard wall outlet.
  2. Open the Avatar Controls app.
  3. Tap the "+" icon in the top right corner to add a device.
  4. Select "Electrical Outlet" or "Smart Plug" from the device list.
  5. Confirm that the indicator light on the smart plug is blinking rapidly (usually twice per second). If not, press and hold the power button on the smart plug for 5-10 seconds until it blinks rapidly.
  6. Enter your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network password. Note: The smart plug only supports 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi networks. Ensure your phone is connected to a 2.4 GHz network during setup.
  7. Follow the on-screen instructions in the app to complete the connection. The indicator light will turn solid blue once connected.

3. Integrate with Voice Assistants (Optional)

Operating Instructions

Manual Control

Press the power button on the side of the smart plug to manually turn the connected device on or off.
