4. Setup

4.1 Charging the Device

Before first use, fully charge the BK06. Connect the micro USB charging cable to the device's charging port and the other end to a USB power source (e.g., car charger, computer USB port). The Status LED will indicate charging status (e.g., red while charging, off when fully charged). A full charge provides up to 20 hours of talk time.

4.2 Mounting the Device

Attach the included sun visor clip to the back of the BK06. Securely clip the device to your car's sun visor, ensuring it does not obstruct your view or interfere with driving controls.

4.3 Initial Pairing

To pair the BK06 with your smartphone for the first time:

1. Ensure the BK06 is charged and the power switch is in the 'ON' position. The Status LED will flash blue, indicating it's in pairing mode.
2. On your smartphone, go to the Bluetooth settings.
3. Search for available devices and select 'BK06' from the list.
4. Once connected, the Status LED on the BK06 will turn solid blue. You will hear a confirmation tone.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Power On/Off

The BK06 features a built-in motion sensor for automatic power management. When the power switch is in the 'ON' position, the device will automatically power on and reconnect to your phone when the car door is opened. It will power off when the car door is closed and no motion is detected for a period.

Once connected, audio from your smartphone, including music, will play through the BK06's dual 2-watt speakers. Use the Volume + and Volume - buttons to adjust the playback volume. Press the Multifunction Button once to pause or resume music playback.

5.4 Voice Command (Siri/Google Assistant)

To activate Siri or Google Assistant, hold the Siri/Voice Command button for 2 seconds while in standby mode. This allows you to use voice commands for navigation, making calls, or other functions without touching your phone.

The BK06 supports audio output for GPS navigation instructions from your smartphone, providing clear voice guidance directly through the car speaker.

The Besign BK06 can connect to two Bluetooth devices simultaneously. To switch between phones during a call, double press the Multifunction Button. This feature is useful for users with both a personal and work phone.
