Setup

1. Battery Installation

  1. Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the device.
  2. Insert two AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  3. Close the battery compartment cover.

Note: The device requires 2 AAA batteries, which are included.

2. Initial Settings (Date and Time)

  1. With the device off, press and hold the SET button until the year starts flashing.
  2. Use the START/STOP button to adjust the year. Press SET to confirm and move to the next setting (month, day, hour, minute).
  3. Repeat the process to set the correct month, day, hour, and minute.
  4. Press SET to save all changes and exit the setting mode.

3. App Installation and Pairing

  1. Download the "Pic Health Station" app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android) onto your smartphone.
  2. Enable Bluetooth on your smartphone.
  3. Open the Pic Health Station app and follow the on-screen instructions to create a profile and pair your MobileRAPID monitor.
  4. The app will guide you through the pairing process, typically involving activating Bluetooth on the monitor (usually automatic when taking a reading) and confirming the connection in the app.

Operating Instructions

1. Preparation for Measurement

  • Rest for at least 5 minutes before taking a measurement.
  • Avoid eating, smoking, or exercising for 30 minutes prior to measurement.
  • Sit in a comfortable position with your feet flat on the floor and your arm resting on a table.
  • Remove any tight clothing from your wrist.

2. Applying the Wrist Cuff

  1. Place the monitor on your left wrist with the display facing upwards.
  2. Ensure the monitor is positioned approximately 1-2 cm from your palm.
  3. Tighten the cuff snugly but not too tightly around your wrist.
  4. Position your wrist at heart level during the measurement.

3. Taking a Measurement

  1. Select your user profile (User 1 or User 2) using the dedicated buttons if applicable.
  2. Press the START/STOP button. The cuff will inflate automatically, and the measurement will begin.
  3. Remain still and silent during the measurement.
  4. The display will show your systolic pressure (SYS), diastolic pressure (DIA), and pulse rate (Pul/min) once the measurement is complete.

4. Understanding Readings

  • Systolic (SYS): The top number, indicating the pressure in your arteries when your heart beats.
  • Diastolic (DIA): The bottom number, indicating the pressure in your arteries when your heart rests between beats.
  • Pulse (Pul/min): Your heart rate, measured in beats per minute.
  • Irregular Heartbeat Indicator: If an irregular heartbeat is detected, a specific icon may appear on the display. Consult your physician if this occurs frequently.

5. Data Synchronization with Pic Health Station App

  • After a measurement, the device will automatically attempt to synchronize data with the Pic Health Station app if your smartphone is nearby and Bluetooth is enabled.
  • The app allows you to save, track, and analyze your blood pressure statistics over time, providing weekly or monthly averages.

Maintenance

1. Cleaning
