2. Safety Information
- Proper Anchoring: Always ensure the garage tent is securely anchored to the ground using the provided pegs or by burying the ground flap. In windy conditions, additional anchoring methods may be required. Failure to properly anchor the tent can result in damage or injury.
- Site Selection: Choose a level and stable surface for installation. Avoid areas prone to water accumulation or strong wind gusts.
- Assembly: Follow all assembly instructions carefully. It is recommended that at least two adults assemble the tent. Wear appropriate safety gear, such as gloves, during assembly.
- Weather Conditions: While the tent is designed to be waterproof and UV-resistant, extreme weather conditions (e.g., heavy snow loads, severe storms) may exceed its structural limits. Consider disassembling or reinforcing the tent during such events.
- Fire Safety: Keep all heat sources, open flames, and flammable materials away from the tent cover. The PVC material is not fireproof.
- Ventilation: Ensure the ventilation openings are not obstructed to maintain proper airflow and prevent condensation buildup.
- Children and Pets: Do not allow children or pets to play unsupervised inside or around the tent, especially during assembly or in windy conditions.

Assembly of the Dancover PRO Garage Tent requires careful attention to detail. It is recommended to have at least two people for assembly. Choose a flat, clear area for construction.
4.1 Frame Assembly
- Unpack all galvanized steel frame components. Sort them by size and type according to the assembly diagram in the separate manual.
- Begin by assembling the base frame on the ground. Connect the horizontal and vertical tubes using the appropriate fittings.
- Erect the arch sections of the frame, connecting them to the base and to each other using the ridge tubes. Ensure all connections are secure.
- Attach the end frame sections, including the door frames.

4.2 Cover Installation
- Carefully unfold the PVC cover and drape it over the assembled frame. Ensure the cover is centered and evenly distributed.
- Secure the cover to the frame using the provided ropes and fasteners. Start from one end and work your way around, ensuring the cover is taut to prevent water pooling.
- Attach the front and rear door panels. The doors are designed to open sideways for easy access.

4.3 Ground Anchoring
- Once the frame and cover are in place, secure the tent to the ground. Use the provided steel pegs to anchor the ground rails of the frame.
- The tent features a dirt flap (overlapping canvas) around the base. For maximum stability and protection against wind and dirt, bury this flap in the ground or weigh it down with heavy stones or other suitable material.
- For a more permanent installation on a concrete surface, the tent can be mounted using extended bolts (not included).

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Door Access
The Dancover PRO Garage Tent is equipped with two doors, one at each end. These doors can be opened sideways by unfastening the securing straps and rolling or folding the door panel to the side. Secure the rolled door panel with the integrated ties to keep it open.
5.2 Ventilation
The tent includes two air ventilation openings. Ensure these are clear of obstructions to allow for efficient air circulation. Proper ventilation helps to reduce condensation inside the tent and maintain a healthier environment for stored items.
6. Maintenance
- Regular Cleaning: Clean the PVC cover periodically with mild soap and water. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, which can damage the material. Rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry completely before closing the tent for extended periods.
- Frame Inspection: Regularly inspect the galvanized steel frame for any signs of corrosion, loose connections, or damage. Tighten any loose bolts or fittings.
- Anchoring Check: Periodically check the ground pegs and the dirt flap to ensure the tent remains securely anchored, especially after strong winds or heavy rainfall. Re-secure or re-bury the flap as needed.
- Cover Condition: Inspect the PVC cover for any tears, punctures, or signs of wear. Small damages can often be repaired with a suitable PVC repair kit to prevent further deterioration.
- Snow Removal: In areas with snowfall, regularly remove accumulated snow from the roof to prevent excessive weight, which could lead to structural collapse.
7. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Water pooling on roof | Cover not taut enough; improper frame assembly. | Re-tension the cover ropes and fasteners. Check frame connections for proper alignment and tightness. |
| Tent unstable in wind | Insufficient ground anchoring; dirt flap not secured. | Ensure all ground pegs are fully inserted. Bury the dirt flap or weigh it down. Consider additional storm straps or anchors in very windy areas. |
| Condensation inside tent | Poor ventilation; high humidity. | Ensure ventilation openings are clear. Open doors periodically to air out the tent. |
| Difficulty opening/closing doors | Cover tension too high/low; obstruction. | Adjust cover tension. Check for any debris or frame misalignment obstructing the door path. |
