1. Important Safeguards
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed. Read all instructions carefully before use to prevent personal injury or property damage.
- Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
- To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse cord, plugs, or the appliance housing in water or other liquid.
- Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
- Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts.

2. Parts & Accessories

3. Setup
Follow these steps to properly set up your grill before first use:
- Place the Grill Base on a stable, heat-resistant, and level surface.
- Slide the Drip Tray into the designated slot at the bottom of the grill base.
- Position the Heating Element assembly over the Drip Tray, ensuring it sits securely.
- Choose your desired cooking surface: either the Grill Plate or the Griddle Plate. Place it firmly on top of the Heating Element.
- Carefully attach the Tempered Glass Lid to the grill base.
- Connect the Power Cord to the unit's power input, then plug the cord into a standard electrical wall outlet.

4. Operating Instructions
Achieve optimal cooking results with these operating guidelines:
- Ensure all grill components are correctly assembled as per the Setup section.
- Pour approximately 2 cups of water into the Drip Tray. This helps to minimize smoke during cooking.
- Plug the unit into a power outlet. The Power indicator light will illuminate.
- Press the Power button to turn on the grill.
- Press the Fan button to activate the smoke extraction fan. This is recommended for all cooking.
- Adjust the desired cooking temperature using the temperature control dial, ranging from 200°F to 450°F. Allow the grill to preheat until the indicator light stops blinking, indicating it has reached the set temperature.
- Carefully place your food onto the preheated cooking surface.
- Close the Tempered Glass Lid during cooking to retain heat and moisture, promoting faster and more even cooking.

5. Interchangeable Plates
Your grill comes with an interchangeable cooking surface to suit various culinary needs:
- Grill Plate: Ideal for achieving classic grill marks and searing meats, poultry, and vegetables.
- Griddle Plate: Provides a flat, even cooking surface perfect for breakfast items like pancakes, eggs, bacon, or for sautéing.
To switch plates, ensure the unit is unplugged and cooled. Lift the current plate using its handles and replace it with the desired plate, ensuring it is seated correctly over the heating element.

6. Cleaning & Maintenance
Regular cleaning ensures the longevity and performance of your grill:
- Always unplug the grill from the power outlet and allow all components to cool completely before cleaning.
- Remove the Tempered Glass Lid, the cooking plate (Grill or Griddle), the Heating Element, and the Drip Tray.
- The Tempered Glass Lid, cooking plates, and Drip Tray are dishwasher safe. For hand washing, use warm, soapy water and a non-abrasive sponge or cloth. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely.
- Wipe the Grill Base with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the grill base or the power cord in water or any other liquid.
- Ensure all parts are dry before reassembling or storing the appliance.
7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your grill, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
- No Power: Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into both the grill unit and a functioning wall outlet. Check your circuit breaker.
- Excessive Smoke: Verify that the Drip Tray contains approximately 2 cups of water. Ensure the fan is turned on. Clean the cooking plates and drip tray regularly to prevent grease buildup.
- Food Not Cooking Evenly: Allow the grill to fully preheat until the indicator light stops blinking. Ensure food is distributed evenly on the cooking surface.
- Grill Not Heating: Confirm the power button is pressed and the temperature is set. If the issue persists, contact customer support.
