Introduction

The Frigidaire Portable Personal Fridge Cooler is designed to keep your food and drinks at the ideal temperature, whether you are at home or on the go. This versatile mini cooler can switch between cooling and heating functions with a simple flip of a switch. It is capable of cooling items up to 32°F below ambient temperature and warming them up to 140°F (at an ambient temperature of 75°F). Its compact, space-saving design and lightweight nature make it highly portable, while still offering a 4-liter capacity, sufficient for six 12 oz. cans. A removable shelf allows for flexible storage of various items such as milk, juice, yogurt, bottles, smoothies, cheese, fruit, coffee, and soup. This cooler is suitable for personal spaces, bedrooms, offices, hotels, boats, and outdoor events. Setup

  1. Unpacking

    Carefully remove the cooler from its packaging. Inspect the unit for any signs of damage. Retain packaging for future transport or storage.

  2. Placement

    Place the cooler on a flat, stable surface. Ensure there is adequate space around the unit (at least 2-3 inches) for proper ventilation, especially around the rear fan area.

  3. Power Connection

    The cooler can be powered by either an AC home outlet or a 12V DC car charger.

    • For Home Use (AC): Connect the AC power cord to the AC input port on the back of the cooler, then plug the other end into a standard 110V wall outlet.
    • For Car Use (DC): Connect the DC power cord to the DC input port on the back of the cooler, then plug the other end into your vehicle's 12V cigarette lighter socket.

Operating Instructions

  1. Powering On and Mode Selection

    Once connected to a power source, locate the switch on the back of the unit. This switch allows you to select between COOL, OFF, and HEAT modes.

    • COOL Mode: Slide the switch to the "COOL" position. The unit will begin to cool the interior. Allow approximately 30 minutes for the temperature to stabilize.
    • HEAT Mode: Slide the switch to the "HEAT" position. The unit will begin to warm the interior. Allow approximately 30 minutes for the temperature to stabilize.
    • OFF Mode: Slide the switch to the "OFF" position to turn off the unit.
  2. Loading the Cooler

    Open the door using the latch. The cooler has a 4-liter capacity and can hold up to six 12 oz. cans. A removable shelf is included for organizing smaller items like skincare products, snacks, or small bottles.

  3. Temperature Performance

    The cooling function can lower the internal temperature to approximately 32°F (18°C) below the ambient room temperature. The heating function can raise the internal temperature to approximately 140°F (60°C) at an ambient temperature of 75°F (24°C). Actual performance may vary based on surrounding environmental conditions.

Maintenance

  1. Cleaning the Interior

    Before cleaning, ensure the unit is unplugged. Use a soft cloth dampened with mild soap and water to wipe down the interior surfaces. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the unit in water. Dry thoroughly before reconnecting power.

  2. Cleaning the Exterior

    Wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. For stubborn marks, a mild household cleaner can be used, followed by wiping with a clean, damp cloth and drying thoroughly.

  3. Fan and Vent Maintenance

    Periodically check the rear fan and vents for dust accumulation. Use a soft brush or vacuum cleaner to gently remove any dust to ensure optimal airflow and cooling efficiency.

  4. Condensation

    It is normal for some condensation to form inside the cooler, especially in humid environments. Wipe away any excess moisture with a dry cloth to prevent water buildup.
