Setup and Installation

Important Safety Information

Always turn off power at the circuit breaker before beginning any electrical work.
A neutral wire is required for this smart switch. If your wall box does not have a neutral wire, the smart switch cannot be installed.
Works in a single-pole setup only. Not compatible with 3-way (multi-location control) switches.
Support 2.4 GHz wireless network only.
Do not install in damp environments.
Do not exceed the maximum load (15 Amps, 120 Volts).

Turn off Power: Locate your circuit breaker and turn off the power to the light switch you are replacing. Verify power is off using a voltage tester.
Remove Old Switch: Unscrew and carefully remove the old light switch from the wall box.
Identify Wires: Label the wires (Line, Load, Neutral, Ground) using the provided labels or a marker. The neutral wire is typically white.
Connect New Switch: Connect the wires from the wall box to the corresponding wires on the BN-LINK Smart Switch using wire nuts. Ensure all connections are secure.
Mount Switch: Gently push all wires back into the wall box and secure the smart switch with screws.
Attach Wall Plate: Snap the decorative wall plate onto the switch.
Restore Power: Turn the power back on at the circuit breaker.

App Download and Setup

Download the "Smart Life" app from the App Store or Google Play. Follow the in-app instructions to connect your smart switch to your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network. If you experience trouble connecting, try AP mode.
