2. Safety Instructions

4. Setup
4.1 Battery Installation
- Unscrew the tail cap of the flashlight by turning it counter-clockwise.
- Insert the 6 AA alkaline batteries into the battery compartment, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
- Screw the tail cap back on clockwise until it is securely tightened.

4.2 Attaching the Wrist Strap
Thread the thin loop of the wrist strap through the small hole located on the tail cap of the flashlight. Secure the strap by passing the larger end through the loop and pulling it tight.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Power On/Off and Mode Selection
The flashlight features a microcontroller-controlled end switch for operation:
- To Turn On/Off: Press the end switch completely until it clicks.
- To Cycle Modes: Once the flashlight is on, lightly press the end switch (without clicking) to cycle through the three lighting modes:
- 100% Brightness (High Power): Provides 1500 lumens for maximum illumination.
- 25% Brightness (Eco Mode): Provides 350 lumens for extended battery life.
- SOS Function: Emits an international Morse code distress signal (three short, three long, three short flashes).

5.2 Optical Zoom (Focusing)
The flashlight features a continuous optical zoom function:
- To adjust the beam from a narrow spot to a wide floodlight, rotate the head of the flashlight.
- Turn clockwise for a focused spot beam.
- Turn counter-clockwise for a broad floodlight.
