5. Setup and Installation

Tools Recommended: Phillips head screwdriver, wrench (for hitch pin), level (optional).

  1. Attach TV Brackets to TV:
    • Carefully place your TV face down on a soft, clean surface.
    • Identify the VESA mounting holes on the back of your TV.
    • Select the appropriate screws, washers, and spacers from the provided hardware kit that fit your TV's mounting holes.
    • Attach the TV mounting plate (with vertical extension arms) to the back of your TV. Ensure the brackets are centered and securely fastened, but do not overtighten.
  2. Assemble Articulating Arm and Hitch Post:
    • Connect the articulating arm assembly to the hitch receiver post. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for securing these components, typically involving bolts and nuts.
    • Ensure all connections are tight and stable.
  3. Install Mount into Vehicle Hitch:
    • Slide the hitch receiver post into your vehicle's 2-inch hitch receiver.
    • Align the pinholes and insert the hitch pin. Secure it with the provided clip.
    • Verify that the mount is firmly seated in the hitch and does not wobble excessively.
  4. Mount TV onto Arm Assembly:
    • With assistance, carefully lift the TV (with attached brackets) and hook it onto the articulating arm assembly.
    • Secure the TV to the arm using the locking mechanisms or screws as indicated in the detailed assembly instructions provided with the product.
    • Double-check all connections for security before releasing the TV.
