Setup
Follow these steps to set up your Uten Multi-Functional Smoothie Blender for first use:
- Unpack and Clean: Carefully unpack all components. Wash the jug, cups, bottles, blades, and lids with warm soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry. The motor base should only be wiped with a damp cloth.
- Position the Base: Place the motor base on a clean, dry, stable, and flat surface. Ensure it is near a power outlet.
- Assemble the Container: Choose the appropriate jug or blending cup for your task. Attach the desired blade assembly (4-leaf for wet blending, 2-leaf for dry grinding) by twisting it onto the bottom of the container until secure.
- Add Ingredients: Place your ingredients into the assembled container. Do not overfill; ensure ingredients do not exceed the maximum fill line. For best results, add liquids first, then soft ingredients, followed by harder ingredients and ice.
- Secure Container to Base: Invert the assembled container (with blade and ingredients) and place it onto the motor base. Twist clockwise until it locks securely into place. Ensure the container is properly aligned with the safety interlock system.

Operating Instructions
General Blending
- Ensure the blender is properly assembled and the container is securely locked onto the motor base.
- Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet.
- Select the desired speed setting using the control knob:
- 'P' (Pulse): For short bursts of power, ideal for chopping or when ingredients get stuck. Release the knob to return to '0'.
- '1' (Low Speed): Suitable for softer ingredients, mixing, and light blending.
- '2' (High Speed): For harder ingredients, crushing ice, and achieving smoother consistencies.
- Begin blending. For optimal results, start with a lower speed and gradually increase if needed.
- Do not operate the blender continuously for more than 1 minute at a time. Allow the motor to rest for at least 2 minutes between cycles to prevent overheating.
- Once blending is complete, turn the control knob to '0' (Off) and unplug the appliance from the power outlet.
- Carefully remove the container from the motor base and detach the blade assembly.

Wet and Dry Blending
Your Uten blender is equipped with two types of blade assemblies for different blending needs:
- 4-Leaf Blade: Use this blade for wet ingredients such as fruits, vegetables, ice, and liquids to make smoothies, juices, and purees.
- 2-Leaf Blade: This blade is specifically designed for dry ingredients like coffee beans, nuts, spices, and grains. Do not use it for wet blending.

- Unplug First: Always ensure the blender is unplugged from the power outlet before cleaning.
- Separate Components: Disassemble all removable parts: jug, cups, bottles, blades, and lids.

- Dry Thoroughly: Ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembling or storing the blender.
- Storage: Store the blender in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
