Setup

The Raycop RN is designed for ease of use. Before first use, ensure all packaging materials are removed.

Unpacking

1. Carefully remove the vacuum cleaner from its packaging.
2. Inspect the device for any visible damage.
3. Ensure the dust box and filters are correctly installed.

Power Connection

The Raycop RN is a corded device. Plug the power cord into a standard electrical outlet (120V).

Operating Instructions

Powering On/Off

To turn the device on, press the power button located on the handle. The UV light and pulsating brush will activate. To turn off, press the power button again.

Cleaning Surfaces

For optimal performance, slowly glide the vacuum cleaner across the surface you wish to clean. The UV light will automatically activate when the device is placed on a flat surface and deactivate when lifted, ensuring user safety.

Cleaning the Dust Box

The transparent dust box allows you to see the collected debris. It should be emptied after each use or when visibly full.

1. Disconnect the power cord from the outlet.
2. Press the dust box release button and lift the dust box from the main unit.
3. Open the dust box and discard the contents into a trash bin.
4. Close the dust box securely and reattach it to the main unit.

Cleaning/Replacing the HEPA Filter

The HEPA filter is washable and should be cleaned regularly.

1. Remove the dust box as described above.
2. Carefully remove the HEPA filter from the dust box.
3. Tap the filter gently to remove loose dust. For a deeper clean, rinse the filter under cool running water until the water runs clear.
4. Allow the HEPA filter to air dry completely (at least 24 hours) before reinserting. Do not use heat to dry.
5. Replace the HEPA filter every 6-12 months, depending on usage, to maintain optimal performance.
