3. Setup
3.1 Battery Installation
The COSOOS LED Tactical Flashlight operates on either a 4.2V rechargeable lithium-ion battery or three AAA batteries. Batteries are not included with this product.
- Unscrew the tail cap of the flashlight by turning it counter-clockwise.
- Insert the battery (or batteries) according to the polarity indicators (+/-) inside the battery compartment. If using AAA batteries, ensure they are placed into the provided AAA battery holder first.
- Screw the tail cap back on clockwise until it is securely tightened.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Power On/Off and Mode Selection
The flashlight features a tail-cap button for power control and mode cycling.
- To turn the flashlight ON or OFF, press the tail button firmly until you hear a click.
- To cycle through the 5 light modes (High, Medium, Low, Strobe, SOS), gently press the tail button without clicking it completely. Each gentle press will advance to the next mode.

4.2 Zoom Function
The flashlight's head is zoomable, allowing adjustment between a focused spotlight and a wide floodlight beam.
- To adjust the beam, slide the head of the flashlight forward or backward.
- Sliding the head out (extending it) will narrow the beam into a spotlight for long-range illumination.
- Sliding the head in (retracting it) will widen the beam into a floodlight for illuminating a broad area.
