Installation Guide
Follow these steps for a secure installation. It is recommended to have a second person assist with lifting and mounting the television.
Step 1: Locate Studs and Mark Positions
Use a stud finder to locate the center of the wooden studs in your desired mounting location. Mark the stud centers. The wall plate should be centered horizontally on the studs.
Step 2: Install the Wall Plate
Hold the wall plate against the wall at the desired height and level it. Mark the drilling points through the holes on the wall plate that align with your studs. Drill pilot holes. Secure the wall plate to the wall using the appropriate lag bolts and washers provided in the hardware kit. Ensure it is firmly attached.
Step 3: Attach TV Brackets to Television
Carefully place your television face down on a soft, clean surface. Attach the two TV brackets to the back of your television using the appropriate screws, washers, and spacers from the hardware kit that match your TV's VESA mounting pattern. Ensure the brackets are securely fastened and evenly spaced.

Step 4: Hang Television on Wall Plate
With assistance, carefully lift the television and hook the attached TV brackets onto the top edge of the wall plate. Gently lower the television until the brackets fully engage with the wall plate. Ensure the TV is level and centered.
Step 5: Secure Television with Safety Screws
Locate the safety screws at the bottom of the TV brackets. Tighten these screws to secure the television to the wall plate, preventing accidental dislodgement. This anti-lift safety system ensures your TV remains securely mounted.

Operating Instructions
Adjusting Tilt Angle
The MI-3030 mount allows for a tilt adjustment range of +5 degrees to -10 degrees. To adjust the tilt, loosen the tilt adjustment knobs or bolts on the side of the TV brackets. Carefully tilt the television to the desired angle, then re-tighten the knobs/bolts to secure the position. This feature helps optimize viewing angles and reduce glare.

Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safety of your TV wall mount.
- Cleaning: Wipe the mount with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Inspection: Periodically check all screws and bolts to ensure they are tight and secure. Over time, vibrations or movement may cause fasteners to loosen.
- Weight Limit: Do not hang additional items or exceed the maximum weight capacity of the mount.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues during or after installation, refer to these common solutions:
- TV not level: Ensure the wall plate is perfectly level before securing it to the wall. Small adjustments can sometimes be made by slightly loosening and re-tightening the TV bracket screws.
- Mount feels loose: Re-check all wall plate lag bolts and TV bracket screws. Ensure they are tightened securely. If mounting into drywall, ensure appropriate anchors were used and are properly installed.
- Difficulty tilting: Loosen the tilt adjustment knobs/bolts slightly more before attempting to adjust the angle. Ensure no cables are obstructing the movement.
- Missing parts: Contact Mount-It! customer support immediately if any parts are missing from your package.
