1. Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation of the Evotech Performance Tail Tidy (Model PRN013736) on compatible Ducati Supersport and Supersport S models. This product is designed to replace the original rear fender, offering a more compact and streamlined appearance while retaining essential lighting functions.

The Evotech Performance Tail Tidy is CNC machined from lightweight aircraft-grade aluminum and finished with a durable satin black powder coating. It is engineered for a direct fit, utilizing existing mounting points and requiring no modifications to the motorcycle's wiring or frame.

2. Safety Information

• Always ensure the motorcycle is stable and securely supported on a stand before beginning any installation or maintenance.
• Turn off the ignition and disconnect the battery to prevent accidental electrical shorts or activation of components.

4. Compatibility

This Evotech Performance Tail Tidy is compatible with the following Ducati models:

• Ducati Supersport 950 & 950 S (Years 2021 onwards)
• Ducati Supersport 939 & 939 S (Years 2017 to 2020)

Important Compatibility Notes:

• This tail tidy is designed to fit around the standard Original Equipment (OE) exhaust system.
• It may not fit if an aftermarket exhaust system is installed.
• Specifically, this product will not fit if an Akrapovič Racing Exhaust is fitted.

5. Installation Guide

Follow these steps carefully to install your Evotech Performance Tail Tidy. No modifications to the motorcycle's frame or wiring are required.

5.1. Preparation

1. Park the motorcycle on a stable, level surface and secure it on a paddock stand or center stand.
2. Turn off the ignition and remove the key.
3. Locate the rear fender assembly, which includes the license plate holder, license plate light, and turn signals.

5.2. Removing the Original Fender

1. Carefully disconnect the wiring for the license plate light and turn signals. Note the routing of these wires.
2. Unbolt the original fender assembly from the motorcycle's subframe. Keep all original fasteners in case they are needed for reinstallation or future use.
3. Gently remove the entire fender assembly.

5.3. Installing the Evotech Performance Tail Tidy

1. Position the Evotech Performance Tail Tidy (PRN013736) onto the motorcycle, aligning its mounting points with the existing holes on the subframe.
2. Secure the tail tidy using the supplied fixings. Ensure all bolts are tightened to the manufacturer's recommended torque specifications (if available, otherwise hand-tighten securely).
3. Connect the stock license plate light and signal lamp wiring to the corresponding connections on the new tail tidy. This is a plug-and-play process, requiring no wire cutting or splicing.
4. Mount your license plate to the tail tidy using the appropriate fasteners. If the license plate holes do not align perfectly, use the provided license plate adapters.

5.4. Final Checks

1. Reconnect the motorcycle battery.
2. Turn on the ignition and test the functionality of the license plate light and both left and right turn signals. Ensure they operate correctly.
3. Double-check all fasteners to ensure they are securely tightened.
4. Ensure all wiring is neatly routed and secured, away from moving parts or heat sources.

6. Operation

The Evotech Performance Tail Tidy is a static component designed to hold your license plate and integrate your motorcycle's existing license plate light and turn signals. Once installed, its operation is passive, functioning in conjunction with your motorcycle's electrical system. Ensure all lights are functioning correctly before riding.

7. Maintenance

• Periodically inspect all fasteners for tightness, especially after the first few rides following installation.
• Clean the tail tidy with a mild soap and water solution. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the powder coating.
• Regularly check the license plate light and turn signals for proper operation.

8. Troubleshooting

• Lights not working:
  • Check all electrical connections to ensure they are securely plugged in.
  • Verify that the motorcycle battery is properly connected and charged.

• Loose fitment:
