2. Safety Instructions
- Always keep the work area clean and well-lit. Cluttered or dark areas invite accidents.
- Do not operate power tools in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of flammable liquids, gases, or dust. Power tools create sparks which may ignite the dust or fumes.

- Avoid accidental starting. Ensure the switch is in the off-position before connecting to battery pack, picking up or carrying the tool.
- Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and balance at all times. This enables better control of the power tool in unexpected situations.
- Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry. Keep your hair and clothing away from moving parts. Loose clothes, jewelry or long hair can be caught in moving parts.
- Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment, such as safety glasses, when operating the scissors.
- Disconnect the battery pack from the electric scissors before making any adjustments, changing accessories, or storing power tools.
- Store idle power tools out of the reach of children and do not allow persons unfamiliar with the power tool or these instructions to operate the power tool.

5.2 Installing/Changing Blades
The electric scissors come with two types of blades, typically for different material densities. Ensure the correct blade is installed for your task.
- Ensure the electric scissors are turned off and the battery is disconnected or removed for safety.
- Locate the blade release mechanism, usually a button or lever near the blade assembly.
- Carefully remove the existing blade. Handle blades by their dull edges to avoid injury.
- Align the new blade with the slot and push it firmly until it clicks into place. Ensure it is securely seated.
- Test the blade by gently moving it to confirm it is properly installed and does not wobble.
6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Powering On/Off
- To turn on the electric scissors, locate the power switch (often a trigger or slide switch) and activate it.
- To turn off, release the trigger or slide the switch to the 'off' position.
6.2 Cutting Technique
- Ensure the material to be cut is laid flat and secured, if necessary.
- Hold the electric scissors firmly with a comfortable grip.
- Activate the power switch.
- Guide the scissors along the desired cutting line. Apply steady, even pressure. The efficient blade design allows for control in both curved and straight line cutting.
- Avoid forcing the scissors through overly thick or hard materials beyond their specified capacity.
- After cutting, release the power switch and place the scissors on a stable surface or in their storage case.

8. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your electric scissors, refer to the following common troubleshooting steps:
- Scissors not turning on: Ensure the battery is fully charged and properly inserted. Check the power switch for any obstructions.
- Poor cutting performance: The blades may be dull or dirty. Clean the blades or replace them if necessary. Ensure you are using the correct blade type for the material.
- Battery not charging: Verify that the charger is correctly plugged into both the scissors and the power outlet. Check the power outlet for functionality.
