3. Setup
3.1 Initial Preparation
Before first use, wash all removable parts (portafilter, filter baskets, milk tank, water tank, drip tray) with warm soapy water and rinse thoroughly. Wipe the main unit with a damp cloth.
3.2 Filling the Water Tank
Open the lid of the water tank located at the back of the machine. Fill the tank with fresh, cold water up to the MAX level indicator. Close the lid securely.

The transparent water tank is located at the rear of the machine for easy filling.
3.3 Preparing the Milk Tank
Remove the milk tank from its position on the machine. Open its lid and fill with the desired amount of milk. Ensure the milk tube is properly inserted into the tank. Reattach the milk tank to the machine, ensuring it clicks into place.
3.4 Attaching the Portafilter
Insert the desired filter basket (single or double) into the portafilter. Add ground coffee to the filter basket and tamp it down evenly using the measuring spoon/tamper. Align the portafilter with the group head on the machine and twist it firmly to the right until it is securely locked.
4. Operation
4.1 Powering On
Locate the power button on the side of the machine and press it to turn on the coffee maker. The indicator lights on the control panel will illuminate as the machine pre-heats.
4.2 Selecting Your Drink
Once the machine is pre-heated (indicator lights stop flashing), use the intuitive touch control panel to select your desired drink. Options typically include Espresso, Cappuccino, Latte, and more. The CustomCoffee system allows you to program the amount of coffee, milk, or foam.

The touch control panel offers various drink options and customization.
4.3 Brewing Coffee
Place your cup(s) on the drip tray beneath the portafilter. Select your desired coffee type from the control panel. The machine will automatically brew the coffee. For best results, use a good quality ground coffee.

The dual outlet arm allows brewing one or two coffees simultaneously.
4.4 Using the Milk Frother
For milk-based drinks, ensure the milk tank is filled and properly attached. The machine's instant cappuccino system will automatically add milk and foam directly to your cup after brewing the coffee, creating a perfect cappuccino or latte.

The integrated milk tank simplifies the preparation of milk-based beverages.
4.5 Hot Water Dispensing
The machine can also dispense hot water for teas or infusions. Select the hot water function from the control panel and place a cup under the dispenser.
5. Maintenance and Cleaning
5.1 Daily Cleaning
After each use, it is recommended to clean the following parts:
- Drip Tray: Remove the drip tray, empty any accumulated liquid, and wash it with warm soapy water.
- Portafilter and Filter Baskets: Remove spent coffee grounds and rinse the portafilter and filter baskets under running water.
- Milk Tank and Tube: Empty any remaining milk. Clean the milk tank and the milk tube thoroughly to prevent blockages and bacterial growth. Some models have an automatic cleaning cycle for the milk system.

The drip tray is easily removable for cleaning.
5.2 Descaling Procedure
Regular descaling is crucial to maintain the performance and longevity of your coffee maker, especially in areas with hard water. Follow the instructions provided with your descaling solution, typically involving running a descaling solution through the machine's water system.
5.3 Storage
If the appliance will not be used for an extended period, ensure it is clean and dry. Store it in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture.
