- Press the power button to turn on the machine. The indicator light will illuminate.
- Once the machine reaches operating temperature (indicator light stops flashing), press the coffee brewing button. Water will flow through the portafilter. Let approximately 100ml of water run through. This primes the pump and cleans the internal system.
Operating Instructions
Making Espresso:
- Ensure the water tank is filled.
- Turn on the machine and allow it to preheat until the indicator light is steady.
- Add ground coffee to the filter basket in the portafilter. For a single shot, use one scoop; for a double shot, use two. Tamp the coffee firmly with the tamper. Alternatively, insert an ESE pod.
- Attach the portafilter to the group head by aligning it and twisting firmly to the right until secure.
- Place one or two espresso cups on the drip tray, directly under the portafilter spouts.
- Press the coffee brewing button. The machine will begin to extract espresso.
- Once the desired amount of espresso is brewed, press the coffee brewing button again to stop the flow.
- Carefully remove the portafilter and discard the used coffee grounds/pod. Clean the portafilter.

Frothing Milk for Cappuccinos and Lattes:
- Fill a stainless steel frothing pitcher with cold milk (dairy or non-dairy) to about one-third full.
- Press the steam button on the control panel. The indicator light will flash and then become steady when the machine reaches steaming temperature.
- Position the steam wand over the drip tray and open the steam knob briefly to release any condensed water. Close the knob.
- Submerge the tip of the steam wand just below the surface of the milk.
- Open the steam knob slowly. Lower the pitcher slightly to introduce air into the milk, creating foam.
- Once the milk has doubled in volume and reached the desired temperature (around 60-70°C), close the steam knob.
- Immediately wipe the steam wand with a damp cloth to prevent milk residue from drying.
- Pour the frothed milk into your espresso to create a cappuccino or latte.
