Introduction

Thank you for purchasing the PROZOR 4K 3-in-1 HDMI Switch. This device allows you to connect up to three HDMI source devices to a single HDMI display, such as a TV or projector, and switch between them easily using the included infrared remote control or a button on the unit. It supports 4K resolution at 30Hz, 3D visuals, and various audio formats, providing a convenient solution for managing multiple HDMI devices.

Please read this manual carefully before use to ensure proper installation and operation.

Setup Instructions

Follow these steps to set up your PROZOR HDMI Switch:

  1. Connect HDMI Source Devices: Connect up to three HDMI source devices (e.g., Blu-ray player, DVD player, PS3, PS4, TV Box, PC/laptop) to the HDMI input ports (IN 1, IN 2, IN 3) on the PROZOR HDMI Switch.
  2. Connect to Display: Connect an HDMI cable from the HDMI output port (OUT) on the PROZOR HDMI Switch to the HDMI input of your TV, monitor, or projector.
  3. Power Connection: Connect the provided USB power cable to the 'Power' port on the HDMI switch and then to a USB power source (e.g., a USB port on your TV, a USB wall adapter, or a power bank).
  4. Insert Remote Batteries: Open the battery compartment of the infrared remote control and insert two AAA batteries (not included).

Operating Instructions

Once the PROZOR HDMI Switch is set up, you can operate it as follows:

Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your PROZOR HDMI Switch:

Troubleshooting

No video or audio output.
  • Loose HDMI cable connections.
  • Incorrect input selected.
  • Power issue with the switch.
  • Source device output resolution incompatible.
  • Ensure all HDMI cables are securely connected.
  • Verify the correct input is selected on the switch and your display.
  • Check if the USB power cable is connected and the switch is receiving power.
  • If using a 4K@60Hz source, set its output resolution to 4K@30Hz.
  • Try restarting the source device and the display.
Remote control not working.
  • Batteries are dead or incorrectly inserted.
  • Obstruction between remote and switch's IR receiver.
  • Remote control is faulty.
  • Replace batteries with new ones, ensuring correct polarity.
  • Remove any obstructions and ensure the remote is pointed directly at the switch's IR receiver.
  • Try using the manual "Select" button on the switch.
Intermittent signal or flickering.
  • Poor quality HDMI cables.
  • Long HDMI cable runs.
  • Electromagnetic interference.
  • Use high-quality, certified HDMI 1.4 cables.
  • For longer runs, consider using shorter cables or an HDMI extender/booster.
  • Ensure the switch is not placed near devices that emit strong electromagnetic fields.
