5. Setup
5.1 Charging the Battery
- Insert the 18V Lithium-Ion battery into the provided charger.
- Plug the charger into a standard electrical outlet.
- Allow approximately 3-5 hours for a full charge. The charger's indicator light will typically change color or turn off when charging is complete.
- Once charged, remove the battery from the charger.
5.2 Attaching the Battery and Hose
- Slide the fully charged battery into the base of the compressor until it clicks securely into place.
- Connect the 50 cm pneumatic hose to the air outlet port on the compressor. Ensure it is tightly screwed on to prevent air leaks.
- Select the appropriate nozzle adapter for the item you wish to inflate and attach it to the end of the pneumatic hose.
6. Operating Instructions
6.1 General Inflation Procedure
- Ensure the battery is charged and securely attached.
- Attach the correct nozzle adapter to the hose and then to the item to be inflated.
- Press the power button or trigger to start the compressor.
- Monitor the pressure gauge closely. Do not exceed the recommended pressure for the item.
- Once the desired pressure is reached, release the power button/trigger to stop the compressor.
- Carefully disconnect the nozzle from the item and then detach the hose from the compressor.
6.2 Inflating Car/Bicycle Tires
- Use the standard Schrader valve adapter (usually pre-attached or included).
- Screw the adapter onto the tire valve stem.
- Inflate to the pressure recommended by the vehicle or bicycle manufacturer (typically found on a sticker inside the car door jamb or on the bicycle frame).
6.3 Inflating Sports Balls
- Attach the needle adapter to the hose.
- Carefully insert the needle into the ball's inflation port.
- Inflate to the recommended pressure, usually printed near the inflation port on the ball.
6.4 Inflating Other Items (e.g., Pool Floats)
- Select the appropriate cone-shaped nozzle adapter.
- Insert the nozzle firmly into the inflatable's valve.
- Inflate until the item is firm but not rigid, avoiding over-inflation which can cause damage.
Note:
- The compressor has a maximum airflow of 30 liters per minute.
- The battery provides approximately 15 minutes of continuous operation, depending on usage.
7. Maintenance
7.1 Cleaning
- Ensure the compressor is turned off and the battery is removed before cleaning.
- Wipe the exterior of the compressor with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Keep the air vents clear of dust and debris to ensure proper cooling.
7.2 Battery Care and Storage
- Store the battery in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- For long-term storage, charge the battery to approximately 50% capacity.
- Recharge the battery every 3-6 months during long storage periods to maintain its lifespan.
- Do not store the battery completely discharged.
7.3 Storage of the Compressor
- Store the compressor in a dry, protected area when not in use.
- Keep the hose and nozzle adapters neatly stored to prevent damage. The compressor has on-board storage for adapters.
8. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Compressor does not start. | Battery not charged or not properly inserted. | Charge the battery fully and ensure it is securely clicked into place. |
| Low airflow or pressure. | Hose or nozzle not securely attached; battery low. | Check all connections for leaks. Recharge the battery. |
| Compressor overheats. | Prolonged continuous use; blocked air vents. | Allow the compressor to cool down. Clear any obstructions from air vents. Avoid continuous operation beyond recommended limits (e.g., 15 minutes). |
| Inaccurate pressure reading. | Gauge malfunction or calibration issue. | Compare with a known accurate pressure gauge. If consistently inaccurate, contact customer support. |
