Ensure the wall plate is level and firmly fixed. - Step 3: Hang the TV on the Wall Mount

- Extending and Retracting: Pull the TV out from the wall up to 403 mm (15.8 inches) or push it back to a minimum distance of 87 mm (3.4 inches) to save space.
- Level Adjustment: Fine-tune the TV's horizontal level by +/- 3° after installation to ensure a perfectly straight display.

6. Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and safe operation of your TV wall mount, perform the following maintenance checks periodically:
- Check Connections: Regularly inspect all screws and bolts to ensure they remain tight and secure. Retighten if necessary.
- Clean Surface: Wipe the mount with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust and dirt. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Lubrication: If the articulating arms become stiff over time, a small amount of silicone-based lubricant can be applied to the pivot points.
7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues with your PERLESMITH TV wall mount, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
- TV is not level after installation: Use the +/- 3° level adjustment feature to fine-tune the horizontal alignment. If the issue persists, re-check the wall plate installation for levelness.
- Mount feels loose or wobbly: Immediately remove the TV from the mount. Re-check all wall plate and TV bracket connections. Ensure all screws are tightened to the recommended torque. Verify the wall structure is sound and the correct anchors were used.
- Difficulty moving the TV (tilting/swiveling): Check for any obstructions. Ensure no cables are snagged. If the movement is stiff, apply a small amount of silicone lubricant to the joints. Do not force movement.
- Missing parts: If any parts are missing from your package, do not proceed with installation. Contact PERLESMITH customer support for assistance.
