Setup and Installation
The HTZSAFE system is designed for quick and easy setup. The sensors and receiver are pre-programmed at the factory.
1. Initial Charging (Sensors)
While the sensors are solar-powered, it is recommended to fully charge them before the first use, especially if they have been stored for a long time or if initial installation is in a low-light area. The solar panel will charge the battery even on cloudy or rainy days.

2. Receiver Placement
Plug the alarm receiver into a standard electrical outlet inside your home or desired monitoring area. Ensure it is within the wireless transmission range of the sensors (up to 1/4 mile, actual range may vary based on terrain and obstacles).
3. Sensor Mounting and Positioning
Mount the solar motion sensors in your desired outdoor locations, such as along a driveway or walking path. Consider the following for optimal performance:
- Detection Range: The sensor detection range is up to 50 feet. It has 3 adjustable sensitivities: High (50ft), Mid (30ft), Low (25ft). Adjust as needed to prevent false alarms from small animals or distant movement.
- Line of Sight: While the system has a long wireless range, minimizing obstacles between the sensor and receiver can improve signal strength.
- Sunlight Exposure: Position the solar panel to receive maximum direct sunlight throughout the day for continuous charging.
- Mounting Height: Mount the sensor at a height that allows for optimal detection of the intended targets (e.g., vehicles, people) while minimizing detection of unintended objects (e.g., tall grass, small animals).

Operating Instructions
Adjusting Volume
Press the Volume Button on the alarm receiver to cycle through the 4 available volume levels (Low, Medium, High, Mute).
Changing Ringtones
Press the Melody Button on the alarm receiver to cycle through the 35 available ringtones. You can assign different ringtones to different sensors to distinguish the detection location (e.g., "Ding Dong" for the front door, "Jingle Bells" for the backyard).
Expanding the System
The HTZSAFE system is fully expandable. You can add up to 32 sensors and an unlimited number of alarm receivers for comprehensive property coverage. Refer to the specific pairing instructions provided with additional sensors/receivers if purchased separately.

Maintenance
- Solar Panel Cleaning: Periodically wipe the solar panel on the motion sensors with a soft, damp cloth to ensure optimal charging efficiency. Remove any dirt, dust, or debris that may accumulate.
- Sensor Eye Cleaning: Keep the sensor eye clear of obstructions and clean it regularly to maintain accurate motion detection.
- Drain Hole Check: Ensure the drain hole at the bottom of the sensor is not blocked to allow for proper water drainage.
- Battery Longevity: The built-in rechargeable batteries are designed for long-term use. Avoid prolonged storage in extreme temperatures.
