Setup
1. Battery Installation and Charging
- Insert the 3.0 Ah Lithium-Ion battery into the battery charger.
- Plug the charger into a standard electrical outlet. The indicator light on the charger will show the charging status.
- Once fully charged, remove the battery from the charger.
- Align the charged battery with the battery port on the vacuum and slide it in until it clicks securely into place.
2. Filter Installation
Ensure the appropriate filter is installed for your cleaning task:
- Dry Vacuuming: Use the standard filter or reusable filter. Ensure it is clean and properly seated over the filter cage.
- Wet Vacuuming: Remove the dry filter. A foam filter (sold separately or included in some kits) is typically used for wet applications to protect the motor. If no foam filter is available, ensure the dry filter is removed to prevent damage.
3. Hose and Accessory Attachment
- Insert the hose cuff into the vacuum's intake port and twist to secure it.
- Attach desired accessories (e.g., crevice tool, utility nozzle) to the end of the hose for specific cleaning tasks.
Operating Instructions
1. Powering On/Off
Press the power button located on the vacuum to turn the unit ON or OFF. The vacuum operates at a single power level.
2. Dry Vacuuming
- Ensure the dry filter is correctly installed.
- Attach the appropriate accessory for the surface (e.g., hardwood, tile, bare floor).
- Turn the vacuum ON and begin cleaning.
- Monitor the dust tank and empty it when full to maintain optimal suction.
3. Wet Vacuuming
- Important: Remove the dry filter before wet vacuuming. Install a foam filter if available.
- Ensure the tank is empty before starting.
- Turn the vacuum ON and proceed to pick up liquids.
- The vacuum is equipped with a float mechanism that will shut off suction when the liquid reaches its maximum capacity. When this occurs, turn off the vacuum, empty the tank, and then resume operation.
Maintenance
1. Emptying the Tank
- Turn off the vacuum and remove the battery.
- Unlatch the motor head from the tank.
- Carefully lift the motor head and set it aside.
- Pour out the contents of the tank into an appropriate disposal area.
- Clean the inside of the tank with water and mild soap if necessary, then rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry before reassembly.
2. Filter Cleaning and Replacement
- Dry Filter: Tap the filter gently to dislodge dust. For a more thorough cleaning, rinse with water and allow it to completely air dry before reinstallation. Replace the filter if it is damaged or excessively worn.
- Foam Filter (for wet use): Rinse with water and mild soap, then rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry completely before storage or reuse.
3. General Cleaning
Wipe down the exterior of the vacuum with a damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. Store the vacuum and accessories in a clean, dry place.
Troubleshooting
