Important Safety Instructions

When using electrical appliances, basic precautions should always be followed, including the following:

• Always place the humidifier on a firm, flat, level surface. A waterproof mat or pad is recommended.
• Always unplug the appliance from the electrical outlet immediately after using and before cleaning.
• Do not place the humidifier near heat sources such as stoves, radiators, or direct sunlight.
• Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or after the appliance malfunctions or has been dropped or damaged in any manner.
• Do not use outdoors. This humidifier is intended for household use only.
• Do not use additives like essential oils directly in the water tank, as this may damage the unit and void the warranty. Use the designated essential oil tray if available.
• Keep the humidifier out of reach of children.

Getting Started (Setup)

1. Unpacking

Carefully remove the humidifier from its packaging. Ensure all components, including the main unit, water tanks, and cleaning brush, are present and undamaged. Retain packaging for future storage.

2. Placement

Place the humidifier on a firm, flat, waterproof surface at least 12 inches (30 cm) away from walls and furniture. Do not place it directly on carpet or a finished floor. Ensure the mist outlet is not directed at walls or furniture.

3. Filling the Water Tanks

1. Remove the two water tanks from the humidifier base.
2. Turn each tank upside down and unscrew the tank cap.
3. Fill the tank with clean, cool tap water. Distilled water is recommended to reduce mineral buildup.
4. Screw the tank cap back on tightly.
5. Place the tanks back onto the humidifier base, ensuring they are seated correctly. Water will begin to flow into the reservoir.

Operating Instructions

1. Power On/Off

Plug the power cord into a 120V AC electrical outlet. Press the power button on the control panel to turn the unit on or off.

2. Mist Output Control

Use the mist control button to cycle through different mist output levels (low, medium, high). The current setting will be displayed on the screen.

3. Warm Mist Function

Press the warm mist button to activate the warm mist function. The indicator light will illuminate. Allow approximately 15-20 minutes for the mist to reach its full warm temperature.

4. Cool Mist Function

Press the cool mist button to activate the cool mist function. The indicator light will illuminate. This function provides immediate cool mist.

5. Humidity Level Setting (Humidistat)

Press the humidistat button to set your desired humidity level. The unit will automatically turn on and off to maintain the selected humidity. Settings typically range from 30% to 60% relative humidity.

6. Timer Function

Press the timer button to set the operating time for the humidifier. You can select intervals (e.g., 2, 4, 8, 12 hours) after which the unit will automatically shut off.

7. Night Light

Some models include a night light feature. Refer to your specific model's controls for activation.

8. Auto-Shutoff

The humidifier is equipped with an auto-shutoff feature that turns the unit off when the water tanks are empty. The indicator light will signal when refilling is needed.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning is essential for optimal performance and to prevent mineral buildup and mold growth. A cleaning brush is included for convenience.

1. Daily Maintenance

• Empty the water from the tanks and reservoir daily.
• Rinse the tanks and reservoir with clean water.
• Allow all parts to air dry before reassembly.

2. Weekly Cleaning

• Unplug the humidifier.
• Remove the water tanks and empty any remaining water.
• Clean the ultrasonic membrane/transducer with the included cleaning brush to remove mineral deposits.
• Wipe the inside of the water tanks and reservoir with a soft cloth and a solution of white vinegar (1 part vinegar to 1 part water) to remove any film or buildup.
• Rinse all components thoroughly with clean water until the vinegar smell is gone.
• Allow all parts to air dry completely before reassembling.

3. Descaling Mineral Buildup

If hard water is used, mineral deposits may accumulate. To descale:

1. Pour 1 cup (250ml) of undiluted white vinegar into the water reservoir.
2. Let it soak for 20 minutes.
3. Carefully brush the ultrasonic membrane and other surfaces with the cleaning brush to remove mineral buildup.
4. Rinse the reservoir thoroughly with warm water to remove mineral deposits and vinegar odor.

4. Storage

When storing the humidifier for an extended period, ensure all parts are clean and dry. Store the unit in its original box in a cool, dry place.
