5. Maintenance

  • Regularly clean the monopod with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust and dirt.
  • If used in wet or sandy conditions, ensure all leg sections and twist locks are thoroughly cleaned and dried to prevent corrosion or sticking. The twist locks are removable for detailed cleaning.
  • Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials, as these can damage the carbon fiber finish.
  • Store the monopod in a dry, cool place when not in use.

6. Troubleshooting

6.1 Loose Leg Sections

If leg sections feel loose after locking, ensure the twist locks are fully tightened with a half-turn clockwise rotation. If the issue persists, disassemble the leg section (if comfortable) and clean any debris from the locking mechanism before reassembling.

6.2 Camera/Head Not Attaching Securely

Verify that the reversible mounting screw is correctly oriented for your camera or ball head's thread size (1/4" or 3/8"). Ensure the screw is fully tightened into the camera/head and the top plate of the monopod.
