4. Setup

4.1 Power Connection

  1. Plug the power adapter into the DC IN jack on the back of the alarm clock.
  2. Plug the other end of the power adapter into a standard wall outlet. The display will illuminate.

4.2 Battery Backup Installation

A 9V battery (not included) can be installed to maintain time and alarm settings during a power outage. The alarm clock will not function fully (e.g., loud alarm, shaker, lights) on battery power alone.

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the bottom of the unit.
  2. Open the battery compartment cover.
  3. Insert a new 9V battery, observing the correct polarity (+/-).
  4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

4.3 Connecting the Bed Shaker

The bed shaker provides a powerful vibration to assist with waking. Connect the shaker's cable to the "SHAKER" jack on the back of the alarm clock.

Place the bed shaker under your pillow, under a fitted sheet, or between your mattress and box spring for optimal vibration transfer.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Setting the Time

  1. Press and hold the TIME button until the display flashes.
  2. Press the HOUR button to adjust the hour. Observe the PM indicator for afternoon hours.
  3. Press the MINUTE button to adjust the minutes.
  4. Press the TIME button again to confirm and exit time setting mode.
  5. To switch between 12-hour and 24-hour format, press the 12/24 HR button (if available, otherwise it's usually part of the time setting sequence).

5.2 Setting Alarms (Alarm 1 and Alarm 2)

The clock features two independent alarms.

  1. Press and hold the AL. SET button until the display flashes and "AL1" or "AL2" is shown.
  2. Use the HOUR and MINUTE buttons to set the desired alarm time.
  3. Press AL. SET again to switch to the next alarm or to confirm the setting.
