4. Setup Instructions
4.1. Trimming the Insoles
The insoles are designed to be trimmed to your specific shoe size for an optimal fit. Follow these steps:
- Remove your existing insoles from your shoes.
- Place your original insole on top of the Thermrup heated insole, aligning the heels.
- Using a marker, trace the outline of your original insole onto the heated insole.
- Carefully cut along the marked line using sharp scissors. Ensure not to cut into the heating elements or the integrated cable. The insoles have marked lines for guidance.
- Insert the trimmed heated insoles into your shoes.

4.2. Attaching and Connecting Batteries
The batteries are designed to be worn on your legs using the provided straps, allowing for freedom of movement and easy access to controls.
- Place each battery into a battery strap.
- Securely fasten the battery strap around your lower leg, either above your ankle or below your knee, depending on your preference and comfort. Ensure the strap is snug but not too tight to restrict circulation.
- Locate the cable extending from each heated insole.
- Plug the cable from each insole into the corresponding battery pack. Ensure a secure connection.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1. Powering On/Off
- To turn on the heated insoles, press and hold the power button on each battery pack for approximately 3 seconds until the indicator lights illuminate.
- To turn off the heated insoles, press and hold the power button again for approximately 3 seconds until the indicator lights turn off.
5.2. Adjusting Temperature Levels
The Thermrup heated insoles feature 4 distinct temperature settings. Once powered on, you can cycle through these settings:
- Short press the power button on the battery pack to switch between the 4 temperature levels.
- The indicator lights on the battery pack will change to reflect the current heat setting (e.g., more lights for higher heat).

5.3. Battery Level Indicator
The battery packs also feature indicator lights to show the remaining battery charge, typically in increments (e.g., 25%, 50%, 75%, 100%). Monitor these lights to know when recharging is necessary.
6. Maintenance
6.1. Cleaning the Insoles
The Thermrup heated insoles are designed for easy cleaning:
- Disconnect the insoles from the battery packs before cleaning.
- The insoles can be washed by hand or machine. If machine washing, use a gentle cycle and a laundry bag to protect the insoles.
- Do not twist or wring the insoles.
- Allow the insoles to air dry completely before reconnecting to batteries or using them again. Do not tumble dry or use direct heat sources.
6.2. Charging the Batteries
To charge the Lithium-Ion batteries:
- Ensure the battery packs are turned off.
- Connect the dual charging cable to both battery packs.
- Plug the power adapter into a standard electrical outlet.
- Connect the charging cable to the power adapter.
- The battery indicator lights will show the charging progress. Once all lights are solid, the batteries are fully charged.
- Disconnect the charger once charging is complete.
