Setup

1. Battery Installation

The camera requires 8 AA batteries (not included). For optimal performance and battery life, it is recommended to use high-quality alkaline or lithium batteries.

  1. Open the battery compartment located on the side or bottom of the camera.
  2. Insert 8 AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
  3. Close the battery compartment securely to maintain weather resistance.

2. SD Card Installation

A memory card is required to store images and videos. The camera supports SDXC memory cards up to 512GB (not included).

  1. Locate the SD card slot, typically near the battery compartment or behind the front panel.
  2. Insert the SD card into the slot until it clicks into place. Ensure the card is inserted in the correct orientation.
  3. To remove, gently push the card in until it springs out.

3. Mounting the Camera

The camera can be mounted using a wall mount or a 1/4"-20 tripod thread.

After installing batteries and an SD card, power on the camera using the ON/OFF switch. The 2-inch color viewing screen will activate, allowing you to navigate the menu.
