4.2 Adding Oil

  • Before first use, ensure the compressor is filled with silicone oil. Due to transportation restrictions, silicone oil is not included and must be purchased separately.
  • Locate the oil cap and remove it.
  • Carefully pour silicone oil into the oil reservoir until the level reaches the red dot on the oil level indicator.
  • Replace the oil cap with the provided breathing rods. Do not operate the compressor with the solid oil cap in place.

4.3 Connecting the Cooling System

The TXES023 utilizes a dual cooling system: an internal fan and an external water cooling system.

  • Connect the provided water pump to the water inlet/outlet ports on the compressor using the supplied hoses.
  • Place the water pump into a container of clean water (e.g., a bucket). Ensure the water pump is fully submerged.
  • Verify all water connections are secure to prevent leaks.

4.4 Connecting the Air Filter and Filling Hose

  • Attach the blue air filter to the compressor's air outlet.
  • Connect the filling hose to the air filter.
  • Ensure all connections are tight and secure to prevent air leakage.
  • Connect the other end of the filling hose to the air tank or device you intend to fill.

5. Operating Instructions

Follow these steps for safe and effective operation of your TUXING TXES023 compressor.

5.1 Pre-Operation Checklist

  • Ensure the compressor is on a stable surface.
  • Verify oil level is at the red dot and breathing rods are installed.
  • Confirm water cooling system is properly connected and the pump is submerged.
  • Check all air connections (filter, hose, tank) for tightness.
  • Ensure the release valve is closed.
  • Connect the power cord to a suitable 110V outlet.

5.2 Setting Desired Pressure

  • Turn on the compressor's power switch.
  • Use the adjustable pressure gauge to set your desired shut-off pressure. The compressor will automatically stop once this pressure is reached.
  • Note: Never set the pressure above 300 Bar (4500 PSI).

5.3 Starting Compression

  • Once the desired pressure is set, turn on the water pump for the cooling system.
  • Start the compressor by flipping the main power switch.
  • Monitor the pressure gauge and the compressor's temperature during operation.
  • If the temperature approaches 85℃, stop the compressor immediately and allow it to cool.
  • The compressor will automatically stop when the preset pressure is reached.

5.4 Post-Operation

  • After the compressor stops, turn off the main power switch and the water pump.
  • Slowly open the release valve to depressurize the system.
  • Disconnect the filling hose from your air tank/device.
  • Allow the compressor to cool down completely before storing.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your compressor.

6.1 Auto Purge Function

The TXES023 features an auto-purge function that drains excess oil and water. This helps prevent moisture buildup and corrosion within the system. While automatic, it is good practice to periodically check for any residual moisture or oil and manually drain if necessary.

6.2 Oil Level Check and Replenishment

  • Regularly check the oil level before each use.
  • If the oil level is below the red dot, replenish with appropriate silicone oil.
  • Change the oil periodically based on usage, typically every 50-100 hours of operation, or if the oil appears discolored.

6.3 Air Filter Replacement

  • The air filter helps maintain air quality. Inspect the filter regularly for dirt and moisture.
  • Replace the filter element as needed, or every 10-20 hours of operation, depending on environmental conditions.

6.4 Cooling System Maintenance

  • Ensure the water used for cooling is clean. Replace the water frequently to prevent algae growth or sediment buildup in the pump and hoses.
  • Keep the fan cooling vents clear of dust and debris to ensure efficient airflow.

7. Troubleshooting

This section addresses common issues you might encounter with your TUXING TXES023 compressor.

7.1 Compressor Not Starting

  • Check Power Connection: Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a live 110V outlet.
  • Power Switch: Verify the main power switch is in the 'ON' position.
  • Current Protection: Check if the current protection button has tripped. Reset if necessary.
  • Overheat Protection: If the compressor was recently used, it might be in overheat protection mode. Allow it to cool down.

7.2 Slow Filling or Low Pressure

  • Air Leaks: Inspect all hose connections for leaks. Tighten any loose fittings.
  • Air Filter: A clogged air filter can restrict airflow. Replace the filter element if it appears dirty or saturated.
  • Oil Level: Insufficient oil can affect performance. Check and replenish oil if needed.
  • Breathing Rods: Ensure the breathing rods are installed, not the solid oil cap.

7.3 Excessive Noise or Vibration

  • Loose Components: Check for any loose screws or fittings and tighten them.
  • Unstable Surface: Ensure the compressor is on a flat, stable surface.
  • Internal Issue: If noise persists and is unusual, discontinue use and contact customer support.

7.4 Overheating

  • Cooling System: Verify the water cooling pump is operating and the water reservoir has sufficient, clean water. Ensure water hoses are not kinked.
  • Fan Vents: Check that the fan cooling vents are not obstructed.
  • Continuous Operation: Avoid operating the compressor for more than 45 minutes continuously. Allow adequate cooling time between cycles.
  • Ambient Temperature: Operating in excessively hot environments can contribute to overheating.
