2. Safety Instructions

4.1 Controls and Ports

- CD Compartment: Located on top, for inserting audio CDs.
- LCD Display: Shows current mode, radio frequency, track number, and other information.
- FUNC (Function) / Power Button: Press to switch between CD, FM, and AUX modes. Press and hold to power the unit on/off.
- Tuning / Track Skip Buttons (◀◀ / ►►): In CD mode, skip tracks. In FM mode, tune radio frequencies.

5. Setup
5.1 Power Supply
AC Power Operation
- Ensure the unit is powered off.
- Connect the supplied AC power cable to the AC Power Input jack on the back of the unit.
- Plug the other end of the AC power cable into a standard wall outlet.
Battery Operation
For portable use, the unit can be powered by batteries (not included).
- Ensure the unit is powered off and disconnected from AC power.
- Open the battery compartment cover located on the bottom of the unit.
- Insert 6 x 'C' size (UM-2) batteries, observing the correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
5.2 Antenna
For optimal FM radio reception, fully extend the telescopic antenna. Adjust its position for the best signal.
6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Power On/Off
Press and hold the FUNC / Power button to turn the unit on or off.
6.2 CD Playback
- Press the FUNC / Power button repeatedly until 'CD' mode is selected on the display.
- Open the CD compartment cover.
- Place a CD (CD, CD-R, or CD-RW) onto the spindle with the label side facing up.
- Close the CD compartment cover. The unit will read the disc, and the total number of tracks will appear on the display.
- Press the Play/Pause (►►) button to start playback.
- To pause, press Play/Pause (►►) again. Press it once more to resume.
- To stop playback, press the Stop (■) button.
- To skip tracks, press the Track Skip (◀◀ / ►►) buttons.
6.3 FM Radio Operation
- Press the FUNC / Power button repeatedly until 'FM' mode is selected on the display.
- Extend the telescopic antenna for best reception.
- Manual Tuning: Press the Tuning (◀◀ / ►►) buttons briefly to adjust the frequency step by step.
- Automatic Scan: Press and hold the Tuning (◀◀ / ►►) buttons to automatically scan for the next available station.
- Saving Presets: To save a station, tune to the desired frequency, then press the MEM. / P-MODE button. Use the Tuning (◀◀ / ►►) buttons to select a preset number (1-30), then press MEM. / P-MODE again to confirm.
- Recalling Presets: In FM mode, press the MEM. / P-MODE button, then use the Tuning (◀◀ / ►►) buttons to select a saved preset.
6.4 AUX-IN Connection
Connect an external audio device (e.g., MP3 player, smartphone) to the Karcher RR 5025.
- Connect one end of a 3.5mm audio cable (not included) to the AUX-IN jack on the Karcher RR 5025.
- Connect the other end of the audio cable to the headphone jack or line-out jack of your external audio device.
- Press the FUNC / Power button repeatedly until 'AUX' mode is selected on the display.
- Start playback on your external audio device. Adjust the volume on both the external device and the Karcher RR 5025.
6.5 Headphone Use
To listen privately, plug 3.5mm stereo headphones (not included) into the Headphone Jack. The speakers will automatically mute.

7.1 Cleaning
- Wipe the exterior of the unit with a soft, dry cloth.
