Setup
1. Battery Installation
- Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the monitor.
- Insert four (4) "AA" alkaline batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
2. Cuff Placement
Proper cuff placement is crucial for accurate readings.
- Sit in a comfortable position with your feet flat on the floor and your arm resting on a table.
- Slide the cuff onto your left upper arm, ensuring the air tube points towards your forearm.
- The bottom edge of the cuff should be approximately 2-3 cm (0.8-1.2 inches) above your elbow joint.
- Wrap the cuff snugly around your arm. It should be tight enough so that you can barely slide two fingers under the edge.
- Connect the air tube from the cuff to the cuff connector port on the side of the monitor.

Image 2: Correct Arm Cuff Placement. This diagram illustrates how to properly position the blood pressure cuff on the upper arm, ensuring the tube is correctly aligned and the cuff is at the right height above the elbow.
