5. Setup
- Unpack the Device: Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
- Attach Handpiece Holder: The handpiece holder comes detached. It can be placed on either side of the control unit depending on your dominant hand. Use the provided strong double-sided mounting tape to secure it.
- Connect Power Adapter: Plug the power adapter into the control unit and then into a suitable electrical outlet (100-240 VAC; 50-60 Hz).
- Connect Handpiece: Plug the handpiece cable securely into the designated port on the control unit.
- Initial Run-in (Important): Before first use, allow the handpiece to run for 30 minutes at approximately 10,000 RPM. This process helps to properly break in the internal components. Ensure a safety bit is installed during this run-in period.
6. Operating Instructions
- Inserting Grinding Bits:
- To open the quick-release chuck, turn the front part of the handpiece to the left (counter-clockwise).
- Insert the desired grinding bit with a shaft diameter between 2.332 mm and 2.350 mm fully into the chuck.
- To secure the bit, turn the front part of the handpiece to the right (clockwise) until it clicks into place. Ensure the bit is firmly seated before operation.
