Setup

Battery Installation:

  1. Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the radio.
  2. Slide the cover open.
  3. Insert two (2) AAA batteries, ensuring the correct positive (+) and negative (-) polarity as indicated inside the compartment.
  4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

Operating Instructions

1. Power On/Off and Volume Control:

To turn the radio on, rotate the ON/OFF/Volume knob (located on the top of the radio) clockwise. Continue rotating to increase the volume. To turn off the radio, rotate the knob counter-clockwise until it clicks into the OFF position.

2. Selecting a Band (AM/FM/WB):

Use the band switch on the side of the radio to select your desired frequency band: AM (Amplitude Modulation), FM (Frequency Modulation), or WB (NOAA Weather Band).

3. Tuning to Stations:

Once a band is selected, slowly rotate the TUNING dial on the side of the radio to scan for stations. The red indicator light on the front panel will illuminate when a strong signal is received. For optimal reception, especially on FM and Weather Band, extend the telescopic antenna.

4. Headphone Usage:

For private listening, plug any standard 3.5mm headphones (not included) into the headphone jack located on the top of the radio. The internal speaker will automatically mute when headphones are connected.
