4. Setup
- Unpacking: Carefully remove the compressor from its packaging. Inspect for any shipping damage.
- Attach Wheels (if not pre-assembled): Securely attach the wheels to the compressor base using the provided hardware.
- Positioning: Place the compressor on a firm, level surface in a well-ventilated area. Ensure there is at least 30 cm (1 foot) of clear space around the compressor for proper airflow.
- Power Connection: Ensure the power switch is in the "OFF" position. Connect the power cord to a grounded 127V / 60 Hz electrical outlet. Do not use extension cords unless absolutely necessary, and ensure any extension cord is rated for the compressor's power requirements.
- Initial Check: Before first use, ensure all connections are tight and the drain valve at the bottom of the tank is closed.

5. Operating Instructions
- Start-up: Turn the power switch to the "ON" position. The compressor will start to build pressure in the tank.
- Pressure Build-up: The compressor will run until the tank pressure reaches its maximum (115 PSI / 8 Bar), then it will automatically shut off. It will restart automatically when the pressure drops below a preset level.
- Connecting Air Tools: Attach your air tool to the air outlet coupling.
- Adjusting Output Pressure: Use the pressure regulator knob to set the desired output pressure for your air tool. Monitor the manometer to ensure the correct pressure is set.
- Shut-down: When finished, turn the power switch to the "OFF" position. Disconnect the air tool and release any remaining air pressure from the tank by opening the drain valve or using an air tool.
6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your air compressor.
- Daily:
- Drain Condensation: After each use, or daily if used frequently, open the drain valve at the bottom of the tank to release accumulated moisture. This prevents rust and corrosion inside the tank.
- Inspect for Leaks: Check all air connections and hoses for leaks.
- Weekly/Monthly:
- Clean Air Filter: Inspect and clean the air filter. A clogged filter reduces compressor efficiency. Replace if damaged.
- Check Fasteners: Ensure all nuts, bolts, and screws are tight.
- Annually:
- Safety Valve Check: Briefly pull the ring on the safety valve to ensure it operates freely and releases air.
- Professional Inspection: Consider having the compressor professionally inspected.
IMPORTANT: Always disconnect the power supply before performing any maintenance.
7. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Compressor does not start. | No power supply; Power switch off; Thermal overload activated. | Check power connection and outlet; Turn power switch ON; Allow motor to cool down and reset. |
| Compressor runs continuously or frequently. | Air leak in system; Drain valve open; Excessive air demand. | Check all connections and hoses for leaks; Close drain valve; Reduce air tool usage or use a tool with lower air consumption. |
| Low air pressure at outlet. | Pressure regulator set too low; Clogged air filter; Air leak. | Adjust pressure regulator; Clean or replace air filter; Check for and repair air leaks. |
| Excessive noise or vibration. | Loose components; Compressor not on a level surface. | Tighten all fasteners; Ensure compressor is on a stable, level surface. |
