Setup
Initial Charging
Before first use, fully charge your Monoprice BT-300ANC headphones. Connect the provided USB-C charging cable to the headphone's charging port and the other end to a USB power source. A full charge takes up to 3 hours. The LED indicator will show charging status.
Power On/Off
- To Power On: Press and hold the Power button until the LED indicator lights up.
- To Power Off: Press and hold the Power button until the LED indicator turns off.
Operating Instructions
Bluetooth Pairing
- Ensure the headphones are powered off.
- Press and hold the Power button for approximately 5 seconds until the LED indicator blinks red and blue, indicating pairing mode.
- On your device (smartphone, tablet, computer), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
- Select "Monoprice BT-300ANC" from the list of devices.
- Once connected, the LED indicator will turn solid blue.
The headphones support Bluetooth Version 4.0 and have a range of up to 32 feet (10 meters).
Active Noise Cancellation (ANC)
Engage Active Noise Cancellation to block outside noise, such as an airplane engine or other background noise. The external microphones "listen" to the environment and then generate a reverse phase signal that eliminates background noise and lets the music take center stage.
- To Activate ANC: Press the dedicated ANC button. The ANC indicator light will illuminate.
- To Deactivate ANC: Press the ANC button again. The ANC indicator light will turn off.
Music Playback & Call Handling
- Play/Pause: Press the Multi-function button (often the Power button when not in pairing mode).
- Volume Up/Down: Use the Volume + and Volume - buttons.
- Next/Previous Track: Long press Volume + for next track, long press Volume - for previous track.
- Answer/End Call: Press the Multi-function button.
- Reject Call: Press and hold the Multi-function button.
The headphones offer up to 16 hours of audio playback time without ANC, or up to 8 hours with ANC activated. They also provide up to 18 hours of talk time.
Maintenance
- Clean the headphones regularly with a soft, dry cloth.
- Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Store the headphones in a cool, dry place, ideally folded to protect the earcups and headband.
- Keep away from extreme temperatures and direct sunlight.
Troubleshooting
- Headphones not pairing: Ensure the headphones are in pairing mode (LED blinking red/blue). Check your device's Bluetooth settings and try reconnecting.
- No sound: Check the volume levels on both the headphones and your connected device. Ensure the headphones are properly paired.
- Charging issues: Verify the USB-C cable is securely connected to both the headphones and the power source. Try a different charging cable or power adapter.
- Poor audio quality: Ensure the headphones are within the 32-foot Bluetooth range of your device. Avoid obstacles that may interfere with the Bluetooth signal.
