Safety Information

WARNING: Safe swimming depends on constant attention to the rules. A "NO DIVING" sign should be posted near your pool to help keep everyone alert to the danger. You may also wish to laminate the sign to protect it from the elements.

• Never leave children unattended in or near the pool.
• Always supervise children and adults who are not strong swimmers.
• Ensure the pool is set up on a level surface to prevent structural instability.
• Do not dive into the pool. The water depth is 24 inches (60.96 cm) when filled to 90%.
• Keep all electrical devices away from the pool area.
• Familiarize yourself with local regulations regarding pool safety and fencing.

Setup

The Intex Metal Frame Pool is designed for easy setup, typically ready for water in approximately 45 minutes. Two people are recommended for assembly.

1. Site Preparation: Choose a firm, level surface for your pool. Ensure the area is free of sharp objects, debris, and is well-drained. A ground cloth (not included) is recommended for added protection.
2. Unpack Components: Carefully unpack all components and lay them out on the prepared ground cloth. Verify all parts are present according to the instruction manual's parts list.
3. Assemble Frame:
   • Insert the horizontal beams through the sleeves at the top of the pool liner.
   • Connect the horizontal beams using the T-joints. These joints are engineered for fast, tool-free assembly.
   • Attach the vertical legs to the T-joints, ensuring they are securely in place.
4. Fill with Water: Once the frame is fully assembled and stable, begin filling the pool with water. As the water level rises, gently smooth out any wrinkles in the bottom of the liner. Fill to the recommended level, typically 90% of the pool's height.
5. Connect Pump (Optional, not included): If using an external filter pump (not included), connect the hoses to the dual suction outlets on the pool liner. Refer to your pump's instruction manual for specific connection details.

Operating Your Pool

Your Intex Metal Frame Pool is designed for relaxation and fun. It holds up to 1,185 gallons of water at 90% capacity, providing ample space for enjoyment.

• Water Level: Maintain the water level between the upper and lower fill lines indicated on the pool liner.
• Filtration: If using a filter pump, operate it daily for several hours to ensure proper water circulation and filtration.
• HydroAeration Technology: This pool is compatible with systems featuring HydroAeration Technology (if using a compatible pump). This technology improves water circulation, clarity, and freshness by injecting air into the water, which helps to clump fine particles for better filtration and generates negative ions for improved air quality.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance is crucial for keeping your pool clean and safe throughout the season.

• Cleaning: Regularly skim debris from the water surface and vacuum the pool bottom.
• Water Chemistry: Test water pH and chlorine levels regularly and adjust as needed using appropriate pool chemicals.
• Filter Pump (if applicable): Clean or replace filter cartridges as recommended by your pump's manufacturer. Ensure dual suction outlets are clear for optimal circulation.
• Liner Care: The pool features a standard 3-ply puncture-resistant laminate material. Avoid sharp objects and inspect the liner periodically for any signs of wear or damage. Use the included repair patch for minor punctures.

Troubleshooting

• Cloudy Water: Check filter pump operation, clean/replace filter cartridge, and test/adjust water chemistry (chlorine, pH).
• Water Leakage: Inspect the liner for punctures. Use the provided repair patch for small holes. Ensure all hose connections (if applicable) are tight.
• Poor Circulation: Verify the filter pump is running correctly and that the dual suction outlets are not obstructed. Clean the filter.
