3. Setup and Installation

The Cooper Lighting 24FP4740C LED Flat Panel is designed for recessed installation in a 2x4 grid ceiling. It can also be surface mounted using the optional kit #FPSURF24 (sold separately).

3.1 Recessed Installation (2x4 Grid Ceiling)

1. Ensure power to the installation area is disconnected at the circuit breaker.
2. Remove the existing ceiling tile from the 2x4 grid opening where the panel will be installed.
3. Connect the electrical wiring from the building to the fixture's junction box. Ensure proper grounding and secure all connections with wire nuts.
4. Carefully place the LED flat panel into the 2x4 grid opening. The panel should rest securely on the grid rails.
5. Restore power and test the fixture.

3.2 Surface Mount Installation (Optional)

For surface mount applications, the Cooper Lighting FPSURF24 surface mount kit is required (sold separately). Follow the instructions provided with the surface mount kit for proper installation.

4. Operating Instructions

The 24FP4740C LED Flat Panel operates on 120 Volts and can be controlled via a standard wall switch or a compatible 0-10V dimming system.

4.1 Basic On/Off Operation

Toggle the connected wall switch to turn the LED panel on or off.

4.2 Dimming Functionality

This fixture is equipped with a 0-10V dimming driver. Connect a compatible 0-10V dimmer switch (not included) to the designated dimming wires of the fixture. Follow the dimmer manufacturer's instructions for wiring and operation. The 0-10V dimmer allows for adjustment of light output from 100% down to 10% or lower, depending on the dimmer.

5. Maintenance

The Cooper Lighting 24FP4740C LED Flat Panel requires minimal maintenance.

• Cleaning: Ensure the power is off before cleaning. Use a soft, dry, or slightly damp cloth to wipe the surface of the panel. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or cleaners containing ammonia, as these may damage the fixture.
• No User-Serviceable Parts: There are no user-serviceable parts inside the LED panel. Do not attempt to open or repair the fixture.
