4. Setup and Installation

The Cornat Aspio Hand Shower Head is designed for easy installation on all standard shower hoses. No special tools are typically required.

4.1. Before Installation

  • Ensure your existing shower hose has a standard 1/2 inch connection thread.
  • Turn off the water supply to your shower or bathtub before beginning installation.

4.2. Installation Steps

  1. Unscrew your old shower head from the shower hose by turning it counter-clockwise.
  2. Ensure the rubber washer (gasket) is correctly seated in the connection of the new Cornat Aspio shower head. This prevents leaks.
  3. Screw the new Cornat Aspio shower head onto the shower hose by turning it clockwise until it is hand-tight. Do not overtighten, as this can damage the threads or washer.
  4. Turn on the water supply and check for any leaks. If leaks occur, gently tighten the connection further or re-seat the rubber washer.

5. Operating Instructions

Your Cornat Aspio Hand Shower Head offers 5 adjustable spray types for a personalized showering experience. To change the spray type, rotate the spray plate on the shower head.

5.1. Spray Types

  • Normal Spray: Provides a consistent and even water flow for everyday showering.
  • Soft Spray: An air-enriched, gentle spray for a noticeably soft and delicate water sensation.
  • Massage Spray: A powerful, concentrated water jet designed to promote physical regeneration and relaxation.
  • Additional spray types are combinations or variations of the above, accessible by rotating the spray plate.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your shower head.

6.1. Anti-Limescale Cleaning

The Cornat Aspio features anti-limescale silicone nozzles. To remove limescale deposits, simply rub the nozzles with your fingers. This should be done regularly, especially in areas with hard water, to maintain a consistent spray pattern.

6.2. General Cleaning

  • Clean the chrome surface with a soft cloth and a mild, non-abrasive cleaning agent.
  • Avoid using harsh chemicals, abrasive sponges, or cleaners containing acids or chlorine, as these can damage the chrome finish.
  • Rinse thoroughly with clean water after cleaning and dry with a soft cloth to prevent water spots.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your Cornat Aspio Hand Shower Head, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

  • Low Water Pressure:
    • Check if the anti-limescale nozzles are clogged. Clean them as described in Section 6.1.
    • Ensure the water-saving insert is not causing excessive restriction if you prefer higher flow.
    • Verify that your main water supply pressure is adequate.
  • Leaking at Connection:
    • Ensure the shower head is securely tightened to the hose (hand-tight only).
    • Check that the rubber washer (gasket) is properly seated and not damaged. Replace if necessary.
  • Uneven Spray Pattern:
    • Clean the anti-limescale nozzles thoroughly to remove any blockages.

If the problem persists after attempting these solutions, please contact Cornat customer support or your retailer for further assistance.
