2. Setup

2.1 Unpacking and Components

Before proceeding with installation, verify that all components are present in the package:

2.2 Hard Drive Installation (HDD Not Included)

This DVR unit does not include a hard drive. An internal 3.5-inch SATA hard drive (up to 14TB) is required for video recording. Follow these steps to install the hard drive:

  1. Twist down the screws: Carefully remove the screws securing the DVR's top cover.
  2. Access the hard disk bay: Slide the top cover off to expose the internal components and the hard drive bay.
  3. Connect cables: Connect the SATA data cable and power cable to the hard drive.
  4. Secure the hard drive: Place the hard drive into the bay and secure it using the provided screws.
  5. Replace cover: Reattach the top cover and secure it with the screws.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Initial Power On and System Configuration

The DVR supports 6 signal types (XVI/AHD/TVI/CVI/CVBS/IP). You can configure the input channels in hybrid mode (8CH 1080N analog + 2CH 1080P network) or pure network mode (16CH 1080P/8CH 5MP). Access the system settings via the main menu to adjust camera types for each channel. Note that this DVR does not support analog cameras with resolution exceeding 1080P.
