This device supports multiple video input types, including XVI, AHD, TVI, CVI, CVBS, and IP cameras, offering a versatile solution for your surveillance needs. 2. Setup
2.1 Unpacking and Components
Before proceeding with installation, verify that all components are present in the package:
- EVERSECU 8-Channel 5-in-1 Hybrid DVR/NVR Unit
- Power Adapter
- USB Mouse

- Screws for Hard Drive Installation
2.2 Hard Drive Installation (HDD Not Included)
This DVR unit does not include a hard drive. An internal 3.5-inch SATA hard drive (up to 14TB) is required for video recording. Follow these steps to install the hard drive:
- Twist down the screws: Carefully remove the screws securing the DVR's top cover.
- Access the hard disk bay: Slide the top cover off to expose the internal components and the hard drive bay.
- Connect cables: Connect the SATA data cable and power cable to the hard drive.
- Secure the hard drive: Place the hard drive into the bay and secure it using the provided screws.
- Replace cover: Reattach the top cover and secure it with the screws.

2.3 Physical Connections
Refer to the rear panel diagram below for connecting your cameras, monitor, network, and power supply.

- Video Input: Connect your analog (AHD/TVI/CVI/CVBS/XVI) cameras to the BNC ports. For IP cameras, connect them to a network switch, then connect the switch to the DVR's network port.
- Network Port (LAN): Connect an Ethernet cable from your router or network switch to this port for network access and remote viewing.
- HDMI/VGA Port: Connect a monitor or display using an HDMI or VGA cable for local viewing. The DVR supports 2K max HDMI output.
- Mouse USB Interface: Connect the included USB mouse to one of the USB 2.0 ports for navigating the DVR's on-screen menu.
- Power Port: Connect the provided power adapter to this port and then to a power outlet.
- Audio Input/Output: Connect audio devices for coaxial audio and two-way intercom functionality.
3. Operating Instructions
3.1 Initial Power On and System Configuration
After all physical connections are made, power on the DVR. The system will boot up, and you may be prompted to set up an administrator password and other initial settings. Follow the on-screen instructions.
3.2 Video Input Configuration
The DVR supports 6 signal types (XVI/AHD/TVI/CVI/CVBS/IP). You can configure the input channels in hybrid mode (8CH 1080N analog + 2CH 1080P network) or pure network mode (16CH 1080P/8CH 5MP). Access the system settings via the main menu to adjust camera types for each channel. Note that this DVR does not support analog cameras with resolution exceeding 1080P.

- Download the MYEYE mobile application (for iPhone/Android) or VMS client for PC.

- Incompatible Cameras:
- This DVR supports analog cameras up to 1080P resolution. It may not work with analog cameras exceeding 1080P or certain 720P/5MP cameras from other brands if not compatible with the supported signal types (XVI/AHD/TVI/CVI/CVBS).
- For IP cameras, ensure they are ONVIF compatible and connected via a network switch.
- Forgotten Password:
- The system offers multiple login access options and password recovery methods. Refer to the on-screen prompts or contact support for assistance with password resets.
