1. Introduction to Your Parts Manual
This manual, designated TC-52B, serves as a comprehensive parts catalog for Farmall and International 100, 130, and 140 series tractors manufactured between 1958 and 1979. It is designed to assist in identifying and ordering replacement parts for these models, including those equipped with a 3-inch x 4-inch (C-123) carbureted engine.
The catalog employs a simplified system for easy reference. Understanding its structure will significantly aid in locating the correct parts.

2. Navigating the Manual
The manual is organized into logical groups and units. Parts are listed in order according to a reference number shown in the illustration. Each part is followed by a full description based upon the "noun first" method, where the common name of the part is listed first, then the modifying descriptive information which serves to specifically identify the item.
The catalog includes a Group Index with tabs for major sections such as Engine, Electrical System, Chassis, Hydraulic System, and Attachments. These tabs are located on the right-hand side of the pages, allowing for quick navigation by bending the catalog.

3. Identifying Parts and Part Numbers
3.1. Part Numbers
New part numbers have been assigned where an advanced system is used. The new part number will replace the old one. The suffix letter indicates the part number relationship to other parts. For example, R1 and R2 indicate parts that work for D, DA, or R. R11 and R92 indicate parts that work for R11 and R92 respectively.
3.2. Illustrations
Exploded views of each unit clearly show the individual parts and their proper relationship. Reference numbers are used in conjunction with illustrations to identify parts. These numbers correspond to those in the reference number column, which is the numerical list of parts. Parts not shown in illustrations appear in the text list only.
3.3. Attachments
Attaching parts, such as bolts, screws, nuts, etc., are listed under the respective individual parts with which they are used. Some parts (such as hood screws) having the same attaching parts are listed with the attaching part immediately below them. They should be ordered by part number, description, and size as they are not component parts of the pieces they attach.

4. Instructions for Ordering Parts
To ensure accurate and timely delivery of parts, please follow these instructions carefully:
- All parts orders should be sent to the control district office or parts depot where instructed. Provide complete address, state the county and railroad station (when shipping point is different than post office), and whether shipment is to go by parcel post, express, truck, or freight.
- When ordering parts, provide the IH part number, including suffix or prefix letters. To facilitate identification of these parts, "Serial Numbers" assigned to machines, if any, should be furnished.
- Parts should be ordered on the standard parts order blank. The parts should be arranged in sequence by part numbers to facilitate service on orders at the control district office or parts depot.
- Claims for shortage or error in the handling of an order for parts must be made upon receipt of goods.
The manufacturer reserves the right to make changes or add improvements in the design or construction of parts at any time without incurring the obligation to install such changes on products previously delivered.
