Adjusting Variable Speed

Sanding Techniques

  • Always hold the sander firmly with both hands.
  • Allow the sander to reach full speed before applying it to the workpiece.
  • Apply light, even pressure. Do not press down excessively, as this can reduce sanding efficiency and damage the workpiece or tool.
  • Move the sander in overlapping circular or back-and-forth motions for even material removal.
  • For best results, sand with the grain of the wood where possible.
