Introduction

The Novastar Taurus TB8 is a second-generation multimedia player designed for small and medium-sized LED full-color displays. This device offers high processing performance and a comprehensive control solution, supporting both synchronous and asynchronous dual modes. It is engineered to meet diverse user needs with features like 2.3 million pixel loading capacity, multiple screen playback synchronization, dual WiFi connectivity, and 4G module support.

  1. Power Connection: Connect the provided power cable to the AC power inlet (100-240V~, 50/60Hz) on the right side of the rear panel. Ensure the power switch is in the OFF position before connecting.
  2. LED Display Connection: Use standard Ethernet cables to connect the LED OUT ports (1, 2, 3, 4) to your LED display modules. The TB8 supports up to four LED output ports.
  3. Network Connection (Optional):
    • Ethernet: For wired network connectivity, connect an Ethernet cable from your network router or switch to the ETHERNET port.
    • Wi-Fi: Attach the provided Wi-Fi antennas to the WiFi-STA and WiFi-AP connectors for wireless network access.
    • 4G: If using cellular data, attach a 4G antenna to the 4G connector.
  4. Input Sources:
    • HDMI Input: Connect an HDMI source (e.g., computer, media player) to the HDMI IN port.
    • USB: Connect USB storage devices for content playback or system updates to the USB ports.
  5. Audio Output: Connect external audio systems to the AUDIO OUT port if required.
  6. Sensor Connections (Optional): Connect temperature (TEMP) and light (LIGHT) sensors to their respective ports for environmental monitoring and automatic adjustments.
