Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your INVENTUM HW817D electric kettle.
- Before Cleaning: Always unplug the kettle from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.

- Interior Cleaning / Descaling: Over time, mineral deposits (limescale) may build up inside the kettle, especially in hard water areas. This can affect performance and taste.
- Fill the kettle with a mixture of one part white vinegar and two parts water.
- Boil the mixture and let it stand for at least 30 minutes, or longer for heavy scale.
- Discard the mixture and rinse the kettle thoroughly with fresh water several times.
- Alternatively, use a commercial descaling solution specifically designed for kettles, following the product's instructions.
- Cable Storage: When not in use, the power cord can be neatly wound around the cable reel located at the bottom of the power base.
