3. Setup Instructions

Follow these steps to set up your MUSTART Level 2 Portable EV Charger:

Choose a Location: Select a dry, well-ventilated area near a dedicated 220V or 240V NEMA 10-30 outlet. Ensure the 25-foot cable can comfortably reach your vehicle's charging port.
Inspect the Charger: Before each use, visually inspect the charging cable, control box, and EV connector for any signs of damage or wear.
Connect to Power Outlet: Plug the NEMA 10-30P plug firmly into the compatible 220V/240V NEMA 10-30 wall outlet. The control box display should illuminate, indicating power.

4. Operating Instructions

To charge your electric vehicle using the MUSTART Level 2 Portable EV Charger:

Connect to Vehicle: Firmly insert the EV connector into your vehicle's charging port. You should hear a click, indicating a secure connection.
Initiate Charging: The charger will automatically begin the charging process. The control box display will show real-time charging information, including current, voltage, power, and charging duration. The LED indicators will also change to reflect the charging status.
Monitor Charging Status: Refer to the LED Light Status table below and the control box display for current charging information.
Complete Charging: Once your vehicle's battery is fully charged, the charger will automatically stop. The display will indicate "Charge Complete."
Disconnect from Vehicle: Press the release button on the EV connector and pull it out from the vehicle's charging port.
Disconnect from Power (Optional): If not needed for extended periods, unplug the NEMA 10-30P plug from the wall outlet.

6. Troubleshooting

Charger Not Powering On:
- Ensure the NEMA 10-30P plug is fully inserted into a functional 220V/240V outlet.
- Check the circuit breaker for the outlet to ensure it has not tripped.
Charging Not Initiating:
- Verify the EV connector is securely plugged into the vehicle's charging port.
- Check the vehicle's charging settings to ensure it is ready to accept a charge.
- Refer to the LED Light Status table for any fault indications.
Fault Indication (Yellow/Red LED):
- A yellow or red LED, or a fault message on the display, indicates an error. Unplug the charger from both the vehicle and the wall outlet. Wait a few minutes, then reconnect.
