Operating Instructions
Ingredient Preparation
For optimal performance and to extend the life of your juicer, always prepare ingredients as follows:
- Wash all fruits and vegetables thoroughly.
- Remove hard seeds, pits, and thick skins (e.g., pineapple, melon).
- Chop ingredients into smaller pieces that can easily fit into the dual hopper. This prevents clogging and ensures efficient juicing.

Figure 3: Always chop ingredients into smaller pieces before juicing to ensure optimal juice quality and extend the appliance's lifespan.
Juicing Process
- Ensure the juicer is properly assembled and the juice and pulp containers are in place.
- Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet.
- Turn the juicer ON using the power switch. The auger will begin to rotate at 43 RPM.
- Slowly feed the prepared ingredients into the dual hopper. The increased width and straight angle of the dual hopper make it easier to insert smaller ingredients.

Figure 4: The wide and straight-angled dual hopper facilitates easy insertion of smaller ingredients for convenient juicing.
- The juicer will separate the juice from the pulp, with juice flowing into the juice container and pulp into the pulp container.
- Once juicing is complete, turn the power switch OFF and unplug the appliance.
Using Different Strainers
The Hurom H-100 comes with three distinct strainers to suit your preferences:
- Fine Strainer: For clear, smooth juice with minimal pulp.
- Smoothie Strainer: For thicker, pulpier juices and smoothies.
- Ice Cream/Sorbet Strainer: For making frozen desserts from frozen fruits.

Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning is crucial for maintaining the performance and longevity of your Hurom H-100 juicer. The redesigned strainers are crafted from premium Ultem plastic for easier cleaning.
Disassembly for Cleaning
- Ensure the juicer is turned OFF and unplugged from the power outlet.
- Remove the juice and pulp containers.
- Detach the hopper assembly from the chamber.
- Lift the chamber assembly off the motor base.
- Disassemble the auger, strainer, and spinning brush from the chamber.
Cleaning the Parts
- Rinse all removable parts (chamber, auger, strainers, spinning brush, hopper, containers) under running water immediately after use.
- Use the provided cleaning brushes to remove any pulp residue from the strainers and other components. The new strainer design prevents pulp build-up, allowing for quick and thorough washing.
- Wash parts with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and allow them to air dry completely before reassembling or storing.
- Note: The Hurom H-100 juicer parts are not dishwasher safe. Hand washing is recommended.
- Wipe the motor base with a damp cloth. Never immerse the motor base in water.

Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your Hurom H-100 juicer, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Juicer does not start. | Power cord not plugged in; parts not assembled correctly; safety sensor not engaged. | Ensure the power cord is securely plugged in. Check that all parts are correctly assembled and locked into place, aligning arrows on the chamber and motor base. |
| Motor stops during operation. | Overload due to hard ingredients or too much fed at once; motor overheating. | Turn off and unplug the juicer. Remove any jammed ingredients. Allow the motor to cool down for 30 minutes before restarting. Chop ingredients into smaller pieces. |
| Juice contains excessive pulp. | Fine strainer not used; ingredients not properly prepared. | Ensure the fine strainer is installed for less pulp. Chop fibrous ingredients more finely. You may strain the juice manually if desired. |
| Pulp is wet. | Ingredients are very soft or watery; juicer not operating optimally. | For very soft fruits, try mixing with harder vegetables. Ensure ingredients are fresh. Run the pulp through the juicer a second time for maximum extraction. |
| Unusual noise or vibration. | Improper assembly; foreign object; worn parts. | Disassemble and reassemble all parts carefully. Check for any foreign objects. If the issue persists, contact customer support. |
